Destroy All Humans edit

I have added a "prod" template to the article Destroy All Humans, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria.

This really only becomes an encyclopedia-level article after the release of the product.--Anthony.bradbury 15:15, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wii edit

Hi - afraid I've had to revert your recent edit to Wii - it seemed to include your signature as part of the changes. This isn't usual Wikipedia practice, see WP:OWN for some good guidelines. Happy editing, --Oscarthecat 21:43, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Construction of userboxes edit

I'm no expert, but here is a handy guideline: Wikipedia:Userboxes#Constructing a userbox. The easiest way to achieve the one you want would be to take your User American infobox and "subst" it. Like this: . When you open your page to edit it again, you will see something like this:

<div style="float: left; border:solid lightgrey 1px; margin: 1px;"> {| cellspacing="0" style="width: 238px; background: white;" | style="width: 45px; height: 45px; background: lightgrey; text-align: center; font-size: {{{5|{14}}}}pt; color: {black};" | ' | style="font-size: {8}pt; padding: 4pt; line-height: 1.25em; color: {black};" | This user is a citizen of the United States of America. |}</div>

Among all the code, you will see the wording that appears in the box, which you can then change and save. That's how I changed the wording on mine. Hope that helps! Katr67 20:43, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Personal edit

Thank you for your thoughts at this time. I do not feel able to take on another adoptee at this time, but when my personal situation resolves, which will be within the next few days, I will be happy to adopt if by then no-one else has done so.--Anthony.bradbury 20:53, 30 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

PS3 sales figures edit

Hi, I've reverted your edit to Playstation 3 concerning sales figures. While more than 2 million PS3 units have been shipped, that is not the number sold to consumers, and it would be misleading to state that 100% of shipped units have sold - the PS3's launch has, in fact, been rather disappointing. I would recommend leaving the number as-is until a reliable citation for sales becomes available. - Davidjk (msg+edits) 18:51, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Major Page Vandals edit

Oscar, could you please tell me how to find out who has done semi-recent changes, or find whoever did this yourself? If you go to Kingdom Hearts, there is, in around the middle-ish area, vandalism(s) about the main character and stupid things.--Furon 15:32, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi Furon. There's no real easy way to do this, at least not that I'm aware of. I usually just pick a few older revisions, and gradually narrow down when it appeared. If you can do that, you can then see the editor in the page history. I've had a look at the Kingdom Hearts article but I'm not familar with the game, so don't really know what the dodgy edits would look like. --Oscarthecat 18:48, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Furon - just click on "history" link on the article's top bar, then click '250' to show 250 edits at a time. Now go back a couple of 250-edit summary pages, to see what happened 500 or 750 edits ago. --Oscarthecat 11:21, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kingdom hearts 3 edit

I thought you should know that I nominated this article for deletion. No game of this title has been anounced. Though Tetsuya Nomura has stated he has ideas for another installment of Kindom Hearts, it will unlikely be titled as a numbered sequel. Source
If you find evidence to the contrary, don't hesitate to revise the article and provide references. Consider using the article's talk page to provide further clarification. The page should also be renamed/moved to "Kingdom Hearts III" to conform with the naming convention for previous installments - all capitalized, since it is a proper noun. The page will also need to be wikified and edited in accordance with the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Thanks. --Applehead77 18:55, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request for adoption edit

I see that you were requesting adoption. Would you like me to adopt you? If you want to find out more about me, see my user page. You may also want to look at my description on the adopters' page. If you want me to adopt you, click the "edit" button to the right of the section heading of this message, and type below that you want me to adopt you. Please end your message with 4 tildes (~~~~), which will sign your username and the time you replied.--TeckWiz ParlateContribs@ 22:49, 11 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay. I've adopted you. Please ask questions here. I've also removed a sentence from your userpage, as it's a personal attack. --TeckWiz ParlateContribs@ 13:14, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've moved the question you asked to the adoption page. Please see the answer User:TeckWiz/Adopt/Users/Furon|there]]. Please also follow the instructions on the adoption page to add it to your watchlist, if you don't know how already. --TeckWiz ParlateContribs@ 13:29, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Arlene?! edit

She doesn't really seem to be a character from Married with Children to me. As for her name - there are plenty of other reasonable names - Enelar, Larene, Eranel, and so on - names that would seem more in place in a Fantasy setting, especially a Japanese-based one. American names like Arlene are HIGHLY unlikely.

Furthermore - this is Wikipedia. "Logically", your edit was OR, and doesn't belong. Direct observations of things not actually stated are as close to OR as we can get - but the name of a character in a game must be stated by the producers or the game itself.

Finally - why the hell did you ask me? Put it on the article's talk page, not mine. I don't even care about the argument - I just was being sarcastic.KrytenKoro 02:38, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Larxene/Arlene edit

If you desire for me to believe that Arlene was honestly her orginal name I would suggest you give me the link. BassxForte 03:43, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

TeckWiz's RFA edit

Hey Furon. Thanks for supporting my unsuccessful RFA this week under my old name, TeckWiz. I'm now known simply as User:R. I hope to keep helping and improving Wikipedia alongside you. --TeckWiz is now R ParlateContribs@(Let's go Yankees!) 23:30, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reply edit

I've replied on my talk page. I've also undid the redirects you put in because of the reason I put in my reply. You have to go to the same place I went to to change my name. Also, if you just redirect without getting your name changed you won't be able to get the new messages bar. See my talk for how to change your name correctly. --TeckWiz is now R ParlateContribs@(Let's go Yankees!) 01:01, 25 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced speculation edit

If you continue to add nonsense to Organization XIII, I will consider your edits vandalism and warn you accordingly. ' 01:28, 13 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't create pages based on your own original research, as you did with Chaser Keyblade Creater. I will not reply to incoherent messages. ' 01:29, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Question edit

I've moved your question to your adoption page here. Please don't leave messages on my talk page as I like to keep adoption questions separate. Please leave question on the adoption page. I'll see it just as fast, since it's on my watchlist. Also, please title the sections with a general description of your question. For example, I changed your "Help!!!" header to "Images" --TeckWiz is now R ParlateContribs@ (Let's go Yankees!) 01:56, 13 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:NPA & WP:CIVIL edit

None of this even remotely resembles acceptable discourse here. Please read our policy on personal attacks and our civility policy. This sort of behavior will get you blocked if it continues.--Isotope23 00:13, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Roxas, please remain civil. --R ParlateContribs@ (Let's Go Yankees!) 00:19, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Chasers" edit

No, that's entirely your speculation. If you'd check any Kingdom Hearts fansite, you'd find that the Ultimania has confirmed the names of the three knights. Anything beyond that is simply your original research and is not acceptable in Wikipedia. ' 02:13, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Stop making articles or edits based on your nonsense speculation. This is getting annoying. ' 06:25, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Pretty much everything you write concerning the knights is speculation. ' 19:23, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Verifiability of additions to articles edit

Additions to articles need to be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources; otherwise these additions constitute original research and will be removed (this for example). I'd suggest you take some time to read the links I've provided and familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies.--Isotope23 16:35, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

You mentioned me being rude about some sort of PS3 crystal ball, but you didn't mention the specific article. Please let me know where exactly that was because I take extra care to not be rude on Wikipedia and would like to see my exact words. As for my Wii number, I wish I knew where to find that, I've been looking for it and can't find it. Useight 23:21, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to apologize if my words sounded rude, I try to sound cordial while being completely objective. I was trying to explain the economics behind why this info isn't released to the public in as few words as possible. As for my Wii number, thanks for telling me where it is, I'll check that as soon as my brother gets done watching a movie. Useight 23:36, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, my brother did get done using the TV and I did find my Wii number, but I'm not sure why you want to send me messages there. I'd never check it. I do check my Wikipedia talk page almost every day, though. Useight 01:30, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sounds pretty reasonable, let me ask my friend who also has a Wii if he has given out his number to anyone and then I'll get back to you tomorrow or something. Useight 01:47, 4 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hi, sorry I took so long to reply, I went out of state on a trip and got back late last night. Anyway, everyone I polled voted that I keep my Wii number to myself, so I don't think I'll be letting you know what it is. Thanks, though, for the interest. Useight 15:12, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

WiiMail edit

Yeah, I guess you could say my Wii is lonely. I haven't given my friend code to anyone nor received any friend codes. There really isn't anything to do online yet, anyway. Not until Mario Kart Wii comes out, that is. It'd be nice if Smash Bros. Brawl was online, too. I think Nintendo should just drop the whole Friend Code thing, anyway. Useight 00:00, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Comeback edit

Hey, I'm glad you decided to make a comeback to Wikipedia. We could always use more editors. As for Wii friend codes, between Guitar Hero III, Madden 07, and Wii Sports, I don't really need online. However, SSBB will change that for sure. But, Wikipedia is not a forum. Useight (talk) 16:55, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
