Copyright issues with Bart van der lee edit
Hi Rookie2519! I saw your message about the copyright of Bart van der lee, and basically, we can't just take your word for it that it's ok to use the text on Wikipedia. We would need an indication that Bart has released the text under a license compatible with Wikipedia - see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. However, even if we got copyright permission, we wouldn't be able to use the text on Wikipedia, because it is not written in an encyclopaedic tone. It would be better to simply write it again from scratch, and to bear in mind Wikipedia's policies of verifiability and a neutral point of view. That said, as you have a close connection with Bart, it might not be a good idea for you to create an article about him anyway. I'll leave another message about this below. Copyright, promotion and notability edit
Please note that assertion of permission to use text is not enough - a formal copyright release is essential, so that we can be certain the actual copyright holder understands and agrees to the terms of Wikipedia's license - see WP:Copyrights#Contributors' rights and obligations.
That would not be worth doing, because even if the copyright issue were resolved, the promotional tone of a company or personal website is likely to be unsuitable for an encyclopedia article, which requires a neutral point of view - Wikipedia is not for promotion of any kind. Copying an artist's own material amounts to WP:Autobiography, which is strongly discouraged - see also Wikipedia is not about YOU.
Article subjects need to have notability, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
