Wiki edit

Hi, I have an Ace Combat Wiki if you'd like. Here: [1] Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 03:14, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ace Combat edit

Hi, I see you've made some good edits trimming superfluous info from Ace Combat articles. Some advice though; if you don't explain in your edit summary why you're doing it, other editors are likely to see it as vandalism and revert it, so please consider entering "removed unnecessary information" or something like that into the edit summary box before you save your edits, so that people don't think you're just going around removing stuff at random or for no reason. Cheers, Miremare 11:02, 28 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please use edit summaries edit

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.

I'm totally confused by your edits... what exactly were you trying to accomplish? There also appears to be a mess of self-referential double and triple redirects. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Whatlinkshere&target=Nations_and_Organizations_of_Ace_Combat. Ewlyahoocom 01:32, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello. You added redirects tag to a lot of these articles but didn't delete the rest of the text. That was confusing. But I think I've fixed most of it up now. However, I did notice that Usea might have gotten lost during the merge. Ewlyahoocom 06:59, 21 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Organizations of Ace Combat edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Organizations of Ace Combat, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Organizations of Ace Combat. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 20:26, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

List of Ace Combat characters edit

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article List of Ace Combat characters, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. List of Trinity Blood characters edit

Please stop adding excessive in-universe plot details to this list and please do not keep messing with the article sections. The list is already 70k and does NOT need any more unnecessary trivial information. The current sections and characters in them were agreed to by consensus after lengthy discussion. If you want feel they should be changed, bring it up on the talk page. Collectonian (talk) 07:24, 26 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Josh Phillips (actor) edit

A tag has been placed on Josh Phillips (actor) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Collectonian (talk) 07:27, 26 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for alerting me to this. But tell me, what exactly were your intentions with these edits of yours?Fairfieldfencer FFF 12:04, 19 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Things on the Sonic News Network are handled a little differently. That merge idea was probably posted months ago. We allow articles for even the most minor thing just so long as it's Sonic related, which doesn't always come to the best. I'll see if I can get you unblocked as soon as I've had a reply from Scrab Master. I'm pretty well respected on the wikia, so I expect an answer soon. I'll unblock you if he doesn't answer me, and continue to probe him afterward.Fairfieldfencer FFF 18:37, 19 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Keep checking in at the Sonic News Network. I'm sure you'll be receiving a lift on your ban soon. You two will be talking through what you should do about the edits. Also, maybe you should get an account there. IPs are usually a nuisance for us since they tend to be either vandals or noobs who don't know much. The latter we can't really blame, but it might establish a relationship better if Scrab knew you by a name than a number.Fairfieldfencer FFF 15:31, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Peter Marinker edit

The article Peter Marinker has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable actor, only link is IMDb

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
