Contested deletion

edit

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (this is the first time creating a page on Wikipedia. I thought I had to justify who I was before being able to contribute. I was also slightly confused as to if this page is accessible to others as it is a sandbox and used to practice on. I had included a company name and URL but I have now tried to edit and remove both company name and URL) --RichardSingleton (talk) 18:22, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! I tagged your userpage for deletion because, to me, it looked like an advertisement for your professional services and Wikipedia is not a web host. You don't need to justify yourself in order to contribute and, in fact, many users choose to edit anonymously without disclosing any information about themselves. If you have any other questions, feel free to consult our userpage policy or ask me questions on my talk page, although I'm fairly busy with school and may not be able to get back to you right away. My apologies for misunderstanding your intentions. --SamX 20:09, 17 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
