Review articles

edit

We typically use review articles for medical content per WP:MEDRS. Thanks Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 22:52, 10 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is not one of the cases where primary sources should be used. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 02:18, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

BTW we already state that esocitalopram is statistically superior to citalopram based on a 2009 Cochrane review (which also raised concerns regarding sponsorship bias of the trials). It is in the section on medical uses. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 02:24, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

This Cochrane review is a Review article Cipriani, A (2009 Apr 15). Cipriani, Andrea (ed.). "Escitalopram versus other antidepressant agents for depression".   Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 23:10, 11 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have thus reported you here [1] We are here to write an encyclopedia. The format you are using is not appropriate. We already state these conclusions as mentioned. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 03:59, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   or   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:32, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Escitalopram

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Escitalopram. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Rhproofer reported by User:Jmh649 (Result: 24h). EdJohnston (talk) 06:44, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
