Hey there! Wow! The page on symbolic interactionism looks really well-organized at first glance. It is, though, considered a c-class article, so there are some things you might want to try in order to get the page up to a-class status. Since an a-class article is defined as "Very useful to readers. A fairly complete treatment of the subject. A non-expert in the subject matter would typically find nothing wanting" I am wondering if it might be worthy to focus on creating more internal links. For instance, is there a page for Herbert Blumer (found under the Basic Premises and Approach section)? I think that might be something worth exploring. Page Review and Suggestions

edit

Hi Reina,

Your page looks really well-developed as the structure is clear and the content is sufficient. And you've made efforts to polish it, good job!

Actually it's a bit difficult for me to refine on such a sound page, but I guess you've got your ways to develop it and I'm looking forward to your final work.

As far as I'm concerned, you may have more up-to-date examples to illustrate the theory since most of the content on your page is theoretical description. Moreover, the new media part, which may be written by some previous student in this course, can be enriched with more recent research findings.I also refer to our textbook for a review of Symbolic Interaction Theory and find that the part of key concepts serve well to understand SIT. So maybe you can put the three key concepts, Mind, Self and Society into the Central Ideas Section. You may also think about adding some interesting pictures, though it's a bit tricky to do it.

Hope you'll get this well done and stay energetic in the coming busy weeks.Stellalqx (talk) 04:48, 13 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
