Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 09:26, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Bea Miller, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Help, i am new and now I don't know how to fix this

edit

HELP. I am new and now being threatened with being blocked. I am upset by the slander and I wanted it removed. Gossip sources were removed but went back up. My team is working on getting all the gossip sources removed. Please help me fix this. Realbeamiller99 (talk) 19:53, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. The gossip source was removed here and has not been re-added again. Are there other gossip sources you think should be removed?
I do not think you should be blocked and I have said so elsewhere. However, if you do not want to be blocked, I would strongly advise you to withdraw your previous statements that you may take legal action. Per our relevant policy, a person may not both edit and sue, or threaten to sue, Wikipedia. BethNaught (talk) 20:57, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
I don't know how to write to an individual or withdraw a statement. Most of the other info is from interviews or is fact-based. I have her birth certificate so I can attest to her correct name and birth place, but since I can't post her birth certificate, I have no way of proving that the posted info is not accurate or is incorrect. Her birth name, on her birth certificate, is Beatrice Annika Kipnis Miller (Annika and Kipnis are both middle names). She was born at St. Vincents Hospital in New York City. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Realbeamiller99 (talkcontribs)
To withdraw the statement it would be sufficient to write on this page "I withdraw all threats of legal action".
As to how you handle the situation now: Wikipedia has an email request team. They are used to dealing with reports of problems from people who are the subject of articles. You can email info-en-q wikimedia.org: say the name of the article, explain what the problem is and what needs to be fixed. If you can make a scan of the certificate, I guess you could send it as an attachment. They may or may not be able to add the correct information but removing the wrong information is definitely possible. BethNaught (talk) 21:45, 14 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
