Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!  nsaum75 !Dígame¡ 05:21, 4 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Upaeplogo.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Upaeplogo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:05, 23 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cholula

edit

Uy! you scared me with that Cholula edit! That's a week's worth of work there. However, feel free to check the information and make corrections. Sometimes I dont quite understand the Spanish right.Thelmadatter (talk) 03:19, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Would you mind citing all of the stuff you've been adding to the Great Pyramid of Cholula article? Here are some basic templates, just copy and paste them in, then add the appropriate fields for each template:

  • Cite book : <ref>{{Cite book|last= |first=|authorlink = |coauthors= |title= |publisher= |date= |location= |pages= |url= |doi= |id= |isbn= }}</ref>
  • Cite encyclopedia : <ref>{{Cite encyclopedia|title=|encyclopedia=|editor-last=|editor-first=|editor-link=|volume=|publisher=|pages=|date=|id= |accessdate=|year=}}</ref>
  • Cite journal : <ref>{{Cite journal|first=|last= |authorlink= |coauthors= |year=|month=|date=|title=|quote=|journal=|volume=|issue=|pages=|doi=|id=|url=|format=|accessdate=}}</ref>
  • Cite web : <ref>{{Cite web|last=|first= |authorlink=|last2=|first2=|last3= |first3=|last4=|first4=|title= |work=|publisher= |date=|url=|format= |doi= |accessdate=}}</ref>
  • Citation : <ref>{{Citation|last=|first=|author-link=|last2=|first2= |author2-link= |title= |place= |publisher= |origyear= |year=|month= |volume= |edition= |chapter= |chapterurl= |page= |pages= |url= |archiveurl= |archivedate= |doi=|id=|isbn= }}</ref>

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
