Harland Bartholomew

edit

Hello, RVELovelace. I saw your article about Eldridge Lovelace. It seems, he used to work together with Harland Bartholomew, so, I put the mutual wikilinks in "see also". Could you get also a copylefted pic of Harland Bartholomew? dima (talk) 05:12, 7 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Density Zoning

edit

A tag has been placed on Density Zoning requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ←Signed:→Mr. E.   Hello, I'm 76.248.151.159. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 76.248.151.159 (talk) 18:14, 11 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Fred Eiseman page

edit

As has been stated before, this edit added content that is not encyclopedia-quality. It is an obituary, entirely unacceptable on Wikipedia.

"Mr. Eiseman was a dynamic, vigorous and charismatic individual who was vitally interested in the world in which he lived." Imagine reading this in the Encyclopedia Britannica for example. Entirely out of place. Fine on an obituary website, not here.

Moreover, upon further examination (read: Google), it appears to be a copyright violation, making it further unacceptable on Wikipedia, or for that matter, in any published document.

In any case, I am unsure as to why you decided to contact me even though I have had absolutely no relation to the article at all. I have not edited it, nor, to my knowledge, ever seen it before. The history of the article shows that User talk:76.248.151.159 removed the offending content; perhaps you might want to discuss it with that editor.
