Thank you for the invite, Moxy. Are there benefits to membership? It would be helpful to have access to good cannabis resources if you can offer them.
No benefits to membership....just a group of editors with the same interests and access to people familiar with our norms and practices if you have questions. As for sources... I do ....in the next few days i will post some and let you know where i do this (many will have access with just a click). PS welcome again any questions just ask....we have tools and many things to help with editing. Happy editing!!!-- Moxy (talk) 22:16, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, Moxy. First problem I see: Scythian religion fails to mention cannabis rituals but Scythians does. Please help rectify this.

(edit conflict):::::Thanks, Moxy. First problem I see: Scythian religion fails to mention cannabis rituals but Scythians does. Please help rectify this.

I dont have time now to fix that...but ...Here are a few sources you can use to expand the article (in you own word as we cant copy and past). Just copy and past the sources after you summarises the main points. --Moxy (talk) 22:30, 30 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Second problem: Timeshifter has identified the cannabis identification issue on Talk:Seshat. We need sources to add it to the main topic.

Moxy, could you post these open task requests to your project talk page? Thanks.
Third problem: Talk:Hopewell_tradition#Cannabis_residues_in_pipes. Evidence dismissed out of hand without proper follow up. Yes there are many unanswered questions but this needs attention.

Hello, I'm Music1201. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Holi has been undone because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Music1201 talk 02:17, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Music1201, can you please explain why you reverted my edit and why you thought it was not constructive? There are two separate paragraphs about cannabis and religion in the article on holi, so it falls into that category. Have you read the article you reverted? Qannabis Queen (talk) 02:30, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
There is not two paragraphs about cannabis, it briefly mentions using cannabis leaves as an ingredient in a traditional drink. Music1201 talk 02:33, 31 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Music1201, there are two separate paragraphs of material about cannabis and holi in the article. I will reproduce the content below:
"...drinks are intoxicating. For example, bhang, an intoxicating ingredient made from cannabis leaves, is mixed into drinks and sweets and consumed by many.[13][14] In the evening, after sobering up, people dress up and visit friends and family."
"...Intoxicating bhang, made from cannabis, milk and spices, is consumed with a variety of mouth-watering delicacies, such as pakoras and thandai, to enhance the mood of the festival."
Now can you explain why you reverted me as unconstructive and why the category should not be added? Take your time to compose your objection, there is no rush. There is a known relationship between drugs and religion in academic literature. I point you to the current research of Richard Miller at Northwestern University as only one example. Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Argentine cannabis activists

edit

A tag has been placed on Category:Argentine cannabis activists requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read!
