Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you.   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Groove Phi Groove, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Groove Phi Groove. Tommi1986 let's talk! 20:31, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am the international President of this organization, my name is Ahmad McDougle. This page does belong to my organization as our name and likeness is trademarked. YOU should not be editing it at all. President of GphiG (talk) 20:36, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
This page does not belong to you. If you want a page where you can edit and say what you like I suggest you start your own blog/wiki. This page belongs to Wikipedia and Wikipedia is not censored. Furthermore, if you are who you say you are, I strongly suggest you read our policy of Conflict of Interests here. Tommi1986 let's talk! 20:42, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
SO am I to understand that people can put whatever they want on my organization's page without vetting? for instance I removed the emblems on the shield definition because it is private information, are you saying that anyone can post private information on the page with no recourse ? Or do I have to ask you to allow it to be removed? Additionally, if the International President of the org nor its members has no control over the page, how do I get it removed ? President of GphiG (talk) 20:48, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
and I read the policy, I have not violated it. You see my minor edits. President of GphiG (talk) 20:49, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
The Minor edits are *less* problematic, but still problematic. The 2008 numbers are referenced, the newer numbers are not. Now, for those numbers, I'd be comfortable with a more recent book (as a secondary source) or even the Groove Phi Groove website as a primary source for corrected (presumably higher) numbers.Naraht (talk) 21:42, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Ok I will provide a source President of GphiG (talk) 13:32, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
That works well.Naraht (talk) 20:24, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
The information you removed is referenced, to the April 12, 1991 Howard University Hilltop, page A3.Naraht (talk) 04:59, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
I understand that, but it was not supposed to be there. The emblems on the shield are private information, if you look at any other black fraternal organization , the elements of their shield are not posted on a public platform like Wikipedia, please remove them. I have received 100 calls from yesterday through this morning and they keep coming. If you need to verify that I am the president Ahmad McDougle, send me an email at president@gphig.org. Please see WP:CENSOR. From Wikipedia's standpoint, WP:COI is very important as well. You, as a member of Groove Phi Groove have a conflict of interest. I hope to continue this discussion when you change your username to one that fits Wikipedia's rules.Naraht (talk) 20:24, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
