File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Mr K.N Rai.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 18:26, 9 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Krishnanand Rai.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Krishnanand Rai.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:05, 20 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Krishnanand Rai. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Sitush (talk) 16:30, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Krishnanand Rai, you may be blocked from editing. In addition to being non-neutral (you seem to attempt a hagiography) your edits violate the MOS and the basics of good writing. Your history of non-neutral editing and edit warring in this article goes back some way--this is a clear example. You must stop, of you'll end up being blocked. (edit conflict) There are numerous problems with your recent edits, including being overly opinionated (we have to be neutral here), poorly sourced and in many aspects completely irrelevant to the article subject. Your general phrasing isn't great but other people could fix that if there was any policy-compliant rationale for keeping your contributions. I have a suspicion that you may be related to the subject of the article and that, too, poses problems because if so then you have a conflict of interest. You really need to discuss what you want to do at Talk:Krishnanand Rai. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 16:34, 26 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

This page was created by me so it has look similar to what I believe it should be. I can understand minor edits to fix obvious and glaring mistakes (agreed there might be some) but I am not going to build consensus on something that I know. As far as the "opinions" is concerned, everything here is fact but it might come so as opinion since it has been created/updated by one person only. I can appreciate if you guys are making this page look good but anything other than that is not welcomed. If you don't like it, stay off of it.

  • No, sorry, that's not how it works. Sitush has laid out pretty clearly what some of the problems are--that it happens to be your own creation doesn't mean you don't have to follow our policies and guidelines. In addition, it seems that this article is your only interest on Wikipedia, and you may well have a conflict of interest with it. If you cannot, or do not wish to, abide by our rules, you will end up blocked, and that means you'll be unable to have any kind of influence on the article. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 01:03, 27 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
