@The Herald, Apologies for this. Check out my message below to the student and instructor. I've also emailed them to ask them to pause editing, so hopefully this will be the last of that.

@Brianda (Wiki Ed): Sure. I really liked their enthusiasm and have been monitoring their edits for a while now. Ideally should've reported them earlier but those edits, even though had a hint of close paraphrasing and copying, were still AGF. Which is why I was hesitant to report them. Hence, I thought of writing one last message after 4im warnings. Also, Taj Mahal got over 800 page watchers. So, it could only get conplicated further. But glad to see you step in. Keep edits to a sandbox

Hi @Prachiv25, We appreciate your good faith edits and enthusiasm for editing Wikipedia, but most of your edits haven't adhered to Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and have been reverted by Wikipedia volunteers. If you continue on this path, your account might get blocked, which we don't want to happen.

I encourage you to pause your editing and first to look over Evaluating articles and sources, so you have a better idea of what's a reliable source, how to identify articles that need improvement, and then check out the training modules on sandboxes. If you want to continue editing for your summer coursework, please keep your edits in a sandbox, where your instructor can grade your work, and refrain from editing articles in the mainspace. Prachiv25, I second what Brianda (Wiki Ed) said above. In particular, several of your edits to Taj Mahal either outright copied or closely paraphrased content from the Smithsonian magazine articles that you cited. For example:

• "According to... romantic tragedy" was copied from here, and
• "During British...transition has occurred" poorly paraphrased content from here through word/phrase substitution.

So please pay particular attention to sections 12-15 of Evaluating articles and sources and the policies I have linked to in this post. Abecedare (talk) 21:22, 7 August 2023 (UTC)
