Welcome!
editWelcome!
Hello, Prabhujiy, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have noticed that you are fairly new! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. I also see that some of your recent edits show an interest in the use of images and/or photos on Wikipedia.
Did you know that ...
- ...Wikipedia has a very stringent image use policy?
- ...most images from Flickr, online news websites, and other web sources are copyrighted?
- ...Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously?
- ...freely-licensed images should be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, a central location for images where they can be used on all Wikipedia projects?
- ...we recommend that new users use our "files for upload" process - at least until you get the hang of things?
If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{Help me}}
on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 05:35, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Do you have a conflict of interest?
editGreetings! I notice that you are claiming to be the photographer of File:Kripalu Mahaprabhu.jpeg, which is a very professional looking image of Kripalu Maharaj. Accordingly, it raises the question: what is your relationship to Maharaj? If you worked for him, then you have a conflict of interest which you must disclose. Further, you also need to disclose if you are being paid to edit his article. —C.Fred (talk) 03:17, 14 February 2018 (UTC)

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Kripalu Maharaj. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Get consensus on the article's talk page before moving the article. Wikipedia is not a platform for promotion. Understand? Grayfell (talk) 03:46, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, you may be blocked from editing. Grayfell (talk) 05:18, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, as you did at Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Grayfell (talk) 05:49, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Prakashanand Saraswati, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Prakashanand Saraswati
editHello. Are you reading these? Please respond here on your talk page. You cannot just removed sourced content like you did at Prakashanand Saraswati. Wikipedia doesn't work that way. Do you understand? Please respond here on this talk page. We can talk about this, but if you ignore me again, you will get blocked. Do you understand? Please answer. editYour recent editing history at Prakashanand Saraswati shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. editHello, I'm Dreamy Jazz. I noticed that in this edit to Prakashanand Saraswati, you removed all the content from the page. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi Prabhuy, there have been some recent edits on Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj's page. For instance, the title of Jagadguru which has been awarded to him is modified to "Guru" and Jagadguru is being listed under honorifics. Is it possible for you to edit that? Further on the current page it is mentioned: "Followers claim that he is the fifth original Jagadguru". Jagadguru title is bestowed by a group of Scholars who after thorough debates ascertain that a certain personality has complete knowledge of all the scriptures (and is God-realized). It's not a position, which can be inherited, but one which is bestowed upon after thorough debates. Other than the five original Jagadgurus, others with similar title are either self-proclaimed or have not been awarded by competent authority.
I am a new Wiki user and the article is semi-protected, so can't make the edit. Please see if you can edit the article suitably. Thank you. VedicStudent1618 (talk) 14:53, 26 August 2019 (UTC) |
