Your username

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Wonderful2016", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it appears to represent an organisation (The Wonderful Company), rather than an individual, see WP:CORPNAME. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:12, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Help me!

edit

Please help me with... uploading an image. I need to update an image of Lynda Resnick, the image is owned by the Wonderful Company and I am working on their behalf to upload the image to the Lynda Resnick page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lynda_Resnick) the image that is used now is low quality and I have the higher quality file to use. the image does appear on google as it has been used on behalf of Lynda and the company in other capacities before being added to Wikipedia. I am not confirmed on Wikipedia as of yet so I cant upload to Wikipedia English. Uploading to Wikipedia Commons has not worked either.

It would be better to upload it to Commons. What is essential, either way, is that the actual copyright holder gives consent. Just asserting permission is not enough. Commons:COM:OTRS explains how to do that. JohnCD (talk) 17:41, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Another single purpose editor Markt2727 has uploaded an image of the subject and asked essentially the same question. If you are operating multiple accounts and editing the same topic without disclosing the connection, then you are in breach of our policy around the use of multiple accounts. Please see WP:SOCK. As you are editing on behalf of the company, you need to read about conflict of interest and paid editing. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:18, 12 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Markt2727. Thank you.
