Cammy edit
Please stop removing Cammy's last name. It has been well-established in multiple forms of Street Fighter media since her first appearance. Not having one listed in the Shadaloo database is irrelevant, as the pages for characters that do have canon surnames like Ken and Juri also don't list them. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 15:07, 6 June 2023 (UTC)

- I have played World Tour. Nothing in there indicates that she doesn't have a last name, and it doesn't somehow cancel out the fact her last name is used on merchandise, in Capcom-approved media like the SFII animated movie and the Udon comics, in Wikipedia-approved sources, etc. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 07:17, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
- This might be my "Sonic's Arms Aren't Blue." But it's not entirely baseless. Cammy's lore is very inconsistent as it is. But not once in game, or any official non licensed source has Cammy ever been called anything other than Cammy. Ken, Kimberly, Juri, Jamie, Sakura, and Karin all have their last names mentioned in game. The Shadowloo archive I referred to, even the most obscure characters that had full names had names stated but not Cammy, Although that site seems to be gone. Adding to outside and licensed media, too inconsistent and Capcom seems to cherry pick what does and doesn't make it in from the outside. There is not a single game where Cammy is called anything other than Cammy. So Unless you can find an in game source, or something from a Capcom website that says otherwise I will continue to insist Cammy doesn't have a last name. But I'm willing to talk it out. I have my receipts. I've been a Street Fighter fan for 30 years+, I main Cammy every game she's in. I know how muddy and confusing Street Fighter lore is. So I really don't think I'm coming from a place of Ignorance. Don't we all have that one thing we insist everyone gets wrong about something in Media we like, be it a game or movie ect?

- Ok so I looked at the article as it is now and I'm fine with it the way it is. Acknowldging her name in outside media but also keeping it JUST Cammy in the opening.
- I still maintain that until a game says otherwise it's just Cammy. If you'd like to discuss this further feel free to message me outside wiki so we're not clogging up discussions. just change the XXVIII to a 28 and you should find me. I'm on discord too same name
