Speedy deletion nomination of HOUSE OF EUROPEAN HISTORY
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on HOUSE OF EUROPEAN HISTORY, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. DGG ( talk ) 07:49, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Username
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Policyteam) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.
There are two issues with this:
- It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
- Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.
Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. - Comments you made at Talk:House of european history indicate that you are editing on behalf of the European Parliament. This is not allowed -- editors at Wikipedia must represent individuals, not organizations. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:04, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Request reason:
Sorry for the confusion but my mane is Markus Warasin and I do not add this page in the name of our institution but I wish to do it myself as I want to explain to everyone what this project is. I create a user policyteam but I could do it under my own name. Unfortunatly, someone added misleading information on the page that would need to be deleted. What can I do, I do not have the rights to edit. Could you delete the page all together so I can start from scrath again? Thank you. Markus Policyteam (talk) 08:59, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Firstly, you seem to have edited under your own name as well as this one - after this block was imposed. That is block evasion. Secondly, if information is added that doesn't fit your policies and desires, and it is referenced reliably, or if it is a removal of non-encyclopaedic wording such as "With a view to transforming this former clinic - currently used as office-space - into a beautiful, attractive and welcoming exhibition building", please note that you do not own the article WP:OWN. Wikipedia is open to be edited by most people (excluding, of course, those who are blocked or banned from editing). Your wording at the talkpage indicated multiple ownership of the account. You seem to have gone against our rules by evading block. I will not delete the page (although perhaps others might) so that the non-encyclopaedic version might be re-created. Can you convince us that you are not in the position I think you are in, as described by me? Peridon (talk) 09:38, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- I'd just like to point out that the other account was created after this account was told to "please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only you" so there was no block evasion. Beeblebrox (talk) 16:41, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
delete contribution
editI think we misunderstood the use of wikipedia in this case. Would it be possible for you to remove all my contributions and to delete this account please?
- I'm afraid we cannot delete accounts. If more than one person has had access to this one, I would recommend scrambling the password, although, as it's blocked, it doesn't make all that much difference. As to the article, it has been edited by other accounts so the 'one user request' category doesn't apply. The article is a useful addition to the encyclopaedia, and you are welcome to keep an eye on it - so long as you remember WP:OWN and that the neutrality has to be maintained, meaning that a properly referenced 'controversy' or 'disaster' or scandal cannot be removed without proper discussion. If you do come up with things for it, I'd suggest contacting User:WikiDan61 or one of the admins involved, as WP:COI conflict of interest applies. I'm not going to do anything about your own name account so long as you seem to be understanding our policies and procedures, and so long as this one remains blocked. It is quite often that people mistake our function, and mistake freedom to edit for 'anything goes'. There are quite a few cases where this is working well - inside information can be valuable so long as it is neutrally worded and properly referenced WP:RS. You might find other areas of interest to you to edit - it is catching... I signed up to make one edit (removing some nonsense) and have ended up as an administrator. change username account
editThank you for your feedback. Would it be possible to change my username account for a different name like "ScottyDan" for example?
- It would, but probably with restrictions about editing this article. Or you could use the mwarasin account - you can't have two (except under certain circumstances). If that isn't you, it needs to be blocked as an impersonation. Peridon (talk) 13:53, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- I would need these two usernames Policyteam and mwarasin to be changed for any other name, it is quiet important. Is there a way to do this?
- Please sign with ~~~~ on talk pages - even if it's yours... You can apply for mwarasin to be changed at Wikipedia:Changing username (use 'Simple'), but as it's not done anything much, according to the policy it's better to create a new one. If you want it to be changed for anonymity, then follow the procedure at that link. This one can remain blocked, unless there is a good reason for a change of name. It could be unblocked briefly for that purpose. One or the other should be out of action permanently. Peridon (talk) 14:40, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
