Speedy deletion nomination of Eesean Bolden
editHello Peridotwiki,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Eesean Bolden for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, [[{{{article}}}]].
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Officialjjones (talk) 23:27, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
Duplicate page
editHi there Peridotwiki!
As you might have noticed, one of the other members from the New Page patrol recently nominated your article for speedy deletion. Here on Wikipedia, creating duplicate articles is forbidden, as it simply creates confusion and wastes server space. In the future, try contributing directly to the original article instead! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page, or check out the Teahouse for help. Good luck, and thanks for joining Wikipedia! editGreetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Eesean Bolden, did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please don't revert pages that have been moved, especially after they've been marked for speedy deletion. Thanks! Air ♠ Combat What'sup, dog? 23:37, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Elliot John Gleave. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Changing the speedy deletion notice to say that an article should be deleted because it is a duplicate of an articel you recreated under a deifferent name is disruptive when that article has already been changed to a redirect. - Per WP:COMMONNAME Wikipedia "generally prefers to use the name that is most frequently used to refer to the subject in English-language reliable sources." Since the artilce staRts off with "Elliot John Gleave (born 20 June 1982), better known by his stage name Example," it seems to me the article is correctly titled as Example (musician). If you think the current article title is incorrec thten raise the issue at Wikipedia:Requested moves Meters (talk) 03:40, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
This is your final warning. You may be blocked from editing without further notice the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Eesean Bolden. ~Oshwah~ (talk) (contribs) 03:30, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- Are you attempting to get this redirect deleted because you created it under the wrong name? I see no evidence that Eesean Bolden is a valid redirect for Example (musician) (i.e., Elliot John Gleave ). I you made a mistake in the title just say so and we can get it deleted. If you keep making these strange edits without talking to us you will be put up for a block, Meters (talk) 03:46, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- confirmed onmy talk so striking teh prev warnign even though I didn't leave it. Meters (talk) 06:12, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
