DYK for Driving in Madagascar
On 16 February 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Driving in Madagascar, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that, due to bandits, convoys of ten or more vehicles are required on some roads when driving in Madagascar? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Driving in Madagascar. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Driving in Madagascar), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Your GA nomination of Ludwig's subathon
The article Ludwig's subathon you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Ludwig's subathon for comments about the article, and Talk:Ludwig's subathon/GA1 for the nomination. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of the "On This Day" column do not affect DYK eligibility. lovejoy trumpeter
hi why have you removed my changes to the lovejoy members? if you go to the Instagram page I provided you will see pictures of her one stage playing with lovejoy and multiple venues and events. I'm not sure what more than actual photographic evidence you need? Mitch454 (talk) 16:09, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Mitch454: Wikipedia isn't built upon photographic evidence (and in an age of deepfakes and photoshop, we shouldn't). It's built on information from reliable, secondary sources. A lot of this relates to inclusion: let's assume what you added is true. Just because something is verifiable and true doesn't been it should be included. If wikipedia articles included everything that was true, they would be extremely long and filled with junk, trivial information, and other cruft. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 16:16, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- ok I give up. she's is part of the band and will be touring in the US with them later this year as well as doing the Leeds reading festival. but what ever. I guess there is no way to actually edit things on wiki. Mitch454 (talk) 16:19, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
