Welcome! edit

Hello, Pelajanela, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page January 7 did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  Schazjmd (talk) 17:55, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Just to clarify: another Wikipedia article is not a source, but it's likely that citations referenced in another article can also be used in your addition to January 7. Schazjmd (talk) 17:56, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your assistance, Schazjmd!

I am not sure where is the proper place to write an answer so I'll try both in my personal talk page and here:

Here are some reliable sources in Bulgarian: https://hermesbooks.com/avtori/georgi-gospodinov.html http://old.segabg.com/article.php?id=205409 (an interview with Gospodinov) https://www.meridian27.com/author/georgi-gospodinov-0 (publisher)

and maybe not so reliable but confirming the date follows: here is his public profile on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/georgi.gospodinov.503 here is his profile in Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/325732.Georgi_Gospodinov, and in IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm7384459/bio?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm

Pelajanela, I wasn't questioning the validity of your addition; it's just that day-of-year articles now require that an inline citation to a reference be included in the edit. You can resubmit the edit as long as you include the citation to a source with it. Just pick one of those reliable ones (not facebook or IMDB) You can learn more about formatting citations at Help:Referencing for beginners. Thanks! Schazjmd (talk) 18:42, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
