Hi Patrossey! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from peers and experienced editors. I hope to see you there! Doctree (I'm a Teahouse host)

Hello, I'm Apparition11. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Genius (website), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 01:29, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Genius (website). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Amaury (talk) 01:34, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Genius (website). Your edits continue to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Genius (website) was changed by Patrossey (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.942159 on 2015-11-25T01:41:00+00:00 .

Please stop

edit

Please stop and read what is being said. If you have a desire to help build an encyclopedia backed by reliable sources, then I will do my best to help. However, if your only goal is to get your name added to Wikipedia, then that is not inline with the goals of Wikipedia. If you want to discuss things calmly like an adult, then we can move forward and possibly accomplish something. However, if all you will do is throw around personal attacks, then the only alternative is blocking you from editing. Apparition11 Complaints/Mistakes 01:44, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent disruptive editing, including edit-warring, attempting to use Wikipedia for self-promotion, personal attacks on other editors, and vandalism. At present the block is set to expire after three days, but if you continue to act in the same way, you are likely to be blocked indefinitely. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:22, 25 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
