Speedy deletion nomination of Neil Mukherjee

edit

Hello Pathgechhe,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Neil Mukherjee for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Wikipedia:Help desk, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

This was mentioned in the welcome post above. David Biddulph (talk) 23:52, 4 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Neil Mukherjee

Hello, Pathgechhe,

If you look at this page, it states that the reason for deletion is CSD G11 Unambiguous advertising or promotion. This means that the article was promotional and read like an advertisement. If you have further questions, please contact the deleting administrator, in this case, Bbb23. You might have some success if you ask for the article to be restored as a Draft so you can improve it. You can also take your concerns to the Teahouse where experienced editors can hopefully address your questions. Liz Read! Talk! 00:33, 5 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Liz,

Thank you for your constructive feedback. I understand what you are saying. I have asked help for re-establishing it as a draft, and I am willing to work with the editors, and Bbb23. But, first I need access to it to work with it.

If I have to change the tone, I will work on it. No problem. Thank you again.

Possible conflict of interest?

edit

If you are Neil Mukherjee, then please declare this on your user page and also please read WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY. If you have been or will be compensated in any way (money or other) for writing the article, please read WP:PAID: you are required by the terms of use of this website in this case to make the declaration. If you have any other relationship with the subject, then please read WP:COI and make the declaration. If you have no relationship with Neil Mukherjee, then feel free to ignore this message, but it might be a good idea to go ahead and tell us that you do NOT have a conflict of interest and tell us why you are interested in the subject, just to avoid raising the COI question is other editors' minds. Thanks.

It probably seems like we are being hostile here, but we are not. If your subject meets our notability criteria, we really do want to help you create this article.
