snow or sand?

Hi Patche. Is the white stuff in Image:Snowdrift.jpg really snow, or sand? --Scott Davis ^Talk 22:06, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

It is sand - leftover from when there was an inland sea many, many years ago. It's incredible because the dunes are atop ground which is completely flat.
