Bhumihars edit
Hi, as far as Wikipedia is concerned, the Bhumihars are not Brahmins. That they claim to be is pure vanity and we do not subscribed to such things, sorry. According to Vedas ,mahabharat ,ramayan Also says four caste in hinduism ,,,, So where is bhumihar ?
Bhumihar is not caste , it is subdivision of Brahmin.... Bhumihar is subcaste not caste , like maithili ,saryupareen ,chitpawan etc
This is popular term among Brahmins in Bihar ,they are not going to take alms , This is the main difference because they are zamindars . Land given by parshurama .

In the context that you were editing it really makes no difference: the consensus on Wikipedia has been that Bhumihars are not Brahmins, whether you consider that to be a subcaste or a jati-caste. Yes, it is true that they have made claims to Brahmin status and that is noted in the relevant article; that someone makes a claim doesn't make it right and the vast majority of reliable sources reject it in this instance. See you are talking like children , Varna and jati Tell me varna of bhumihar ? Okay if you don't know , then who gives you right to make him another caste , now today's people decide who is bhumihar ?
You don't know so many things but it doesn't mean that they doesn't exist.
Why bhumihar brahmin needs to be claim , they are Brahmins ,even better Brahmin than others but if you are trying to deviate their community then they need to be claim ,
Who is given you right to deviate social status of any community. And how can you judge it with some jealousy people and negative comments then you are totally wrong .
If you don't know something about someone , it doesn't mean get information from wrong sources.
If I ask you something about types of Brahmin You will go through Wikipedia , Wikipedia not created Brahmin community and not know properly , they provide less than 1 % information about terms hence no rights to judge him and take decisions ,
But if large section of community living in society saying that they are zamindars , land owning Brahmin , Brahmin king etc .
He needs to be listen , provide appropriate contents .

As per Hindu Mythology , Only Four Varnas Brahmin Kshatriya Vaishyas Shudra
No place for Bhumihar Varna . Because it is a Sub Caste of Brahmin like Saryuparin , sakaldwipia , maithli etc
Then how Bhumihar is separated from Brahmin. This is irrelevant thoughts you are trying to impose through Wikipedia .
