  This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at Body mass index, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, PVIVEK NEGI. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.}}-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:59, 8 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for advertising or promotion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Request reason:

I accept that I made some edits that may violate Wikipedia policy but those edits were not intended for any promotional purpose, instead those edits give relevant information about the topic.

I saw there are many references inserted that look like promotional material of websites that does not give any authentic information about the topic but I don't know why you don't remove them.
so I thought that we can add information on Wikipedia with reference links.
I assure you I will not repeat this again, instead of contributing with relevant information. you may block me if repeated.
Thank you Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 15:58, 9 July 2021 (UTC) VIVEK NEGI 12:09, 9 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • To be fair to the OP, they were blocked as a spam-only account but had made a handful of unrelated good-faith edits in 2018 and 2019. I'd consider unblocking with a prohibition on linking to their website anywhere on Wikipedia (including their user pages). @Daniel Case:, thoughts?-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:02, 9 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Waiting for a reply on Ponyo's suggestion. 331dot (talk) 10:05, 10 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
I would like to know if the same person has been behind the account during both periods of activity. Daniel Case (talk) 19:13, 10 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I am the only person who is using this account. Again I apologize for any violation. Thank you VIVEK NEGI 19:39, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
OK, so why did you edit productively a couple of years ago but not recently? Daniel Case (talk) 17:08, 11 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have already given the reason that I thought we can add external links giving relevant information about the topic, also, I apologized for the violation and not repeating the mistake also said that if repeated then you can block. You blocked me for editing and I accept it because I deserve it now I take back my unblock request. Thanks, VIVEK NEGI 19:26, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
