My edits and contribution are being reverted....why?
editMy contribution in this article which is as "After a meeting with Tenth Sikh Guru. sh. Guru Gobind Singh he turned to sikhism and becomes a sikh. Then The guru ordered him to go to punjab and fight the mughals with the help of Sikhs.After this the new era of his life starts."and a edit in which i replace the" revolted oppressed Hindus " with "Sikh army" are being reverted. may i know the reason. Please clarify that what is wrong in these two edits and they are true why are you removing these. thanks PSAntaal (talk) 07:06, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
- Hey PSAntaal, it seems that I accidentally removed some of your edits when I removed the image you were trying to insert, I apologize for that. When editing Wikipedia, please keep in mind that:
- Anyone can edit Wikipedia, so your edits may be modified or removed by anyone else.
- You can look at the article's revision history by clicking the link in the upper right of the page that says View History, to check who has made the changes. Editors often explain why the changes were made.
- Facts included in articles must be supported by reliable sources
- Articles must follow Wikipedia's Manual of Style

- The reason the picture was removed is because it was just a link to an image in another website. Pictures included in Wikipedia have to be uploaded to Wikimedia (see this guide). Also, keep in mind that Wikipedia can't accept images that are do not have a free license (except in some cases for fair use).
