Thanks for joining, this make's it much easier to deal with disagreements over editing. The language in the merchandising section on The Nightmare Before Christmas is much better now, if you could give me some links to any relevant sections/threads regarding the 'Hot Topic' issue, merchandise quality and resentment of co-option of the imagery by the gothic/alternative community on any of the sites/forums (Presumably The Tim Burton Collective and Halloweentown.Org? Any other links/cites/sources available?) then we can add inline citations to that section. Would be possibly a good idea to qualify the 'core group' statement, as at the moment it suggests all original fans resent the gothic community for co-opting the imagery, and I'd hazard a guess that not all of them do. Hopefully we can come up with a version that reflects the resentment of some original collectors/fans without turning the entire section into an open attack on the newer merchandise/purchasers.
