June 2013 – date formats edit

Please don't change date formats of just certain parts of articles. We try to have a consistent date format throughout each article. I'll undo your edits. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:19, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hey I've been updating almost 100 players rankings so that we may have some consistency when Wimbledon start next week. Please do not revert all of my work! I used the date format that was used by most pages to show the date of the ranking. All for the sake of consistency. If you wanna change the date format then go ahead... but then you need too do it on all of them. OnionManSweden (talk) 17:29, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
You need to make sure you keep all dates within the article the same format. You changed a number of them. The Rambling Man (talk) 17:33, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ok, but why doesn't all player pages use the same date format? What about consistency? What date format is the correct one for en.wikipedia.org?
WP:DATEFORMAT may help? The Rambling Man (talk) 18:19, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
If i make the date format in the infobox consistent, would that be ok with you? I want to straighten out the mess it's in right now with a mix of different formats for the players. But i cannot edit every single date in every player article. I'll leave that to someone else with more time and experience.
It would be helpful, as a minimum, if the infobox date formats were the same, yes. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:37, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
