Speedy deletion nomination of Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 333-blue 08:33, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

About usernames and conflicts of interests edit

Hello, Oliveblueinc and again welcome to Wikipedia.
I'm Peter, a Wikipedia editor and administrator in Australia. My "Username" is "Shirt58". It's just a number I was allocated playing field hockey.

  • Click Wikipedia:Username policy to find out about acceptable usernames. Unfortunately, your username suggests that you may be making changes (called "editing" in Wikipedia jargon) on behalf of a business, in this case http://www.oliveblue.com/. If you want to continue editing Wikipedia, I strongly suggest that you ask for your username to be changed.
  • It also appears you may have a conflict of interests. Click Wikipedia:Conflict of interest to find out about Wikipedia's guidelines this. I suggest that you may be editing to promote a person instead of adding content suitable for an encyclopedia. In this case, it is about Ms Akpoveta.

It would appear to me that Ms Akpoveta does not meet the criteria (called "notability" in Wikipedia jargon) for inclusion as the subject of a Wikipedia web-page (called an "article" in Wikipedia jargon). Click Wikipedia:Notability (people) to see more about this.
Please feel free ask me any questions you may have about this, or Wikipedia generally. Pete AU aka --Shirt58 (talk) 10:03, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

March 2016 edit

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Yvonne Ruke Akpoveta. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. -- Rrburke (talk) 13:35, 2 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you.
