Zorbeez article (put under header by Oldlaptop321 (talk) 19:41, 20 March 2009 (UTC)) edit

Hello! It's a bit promotional, but after reviewing the entry, I'll honor your request and restore the article. Thank you very much for the contribution.  :) --PMDrive1061 (talk) 03:53, 7 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

You bet. I'm more than happy to help. I don't have the time to work on it now, but I may try my own hand at cleaning it up when I have some more time. Have a great weekend! --PMDrive1061 (talk) 04:08, 7 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rollback edit

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 00:26, 22 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

User Talk DBpedia edit

The User_Talk page of the DBpedia account is for testing purposes in a live extraction framework. see http://dbpedia.org . I checked with other members of the Wikipedia community and they reconed I and others could edit freely in the User Space. So there will be more changes possibly also by other not logged in Users to User_talk:DBpedia If this is an annoyance, please give me feedback on how to improve this situation as I'm unfamiliar with Wikipedia Rules for an Overview see here: User:DBpedia Sebastian Hellmann DBpedia (talk) 13:59, 22 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please stop reverting my edit. I moved a section which is why you might think it was vandalism. 83.146.12.20 (talk) 15:49, 22 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bid'ah edit

Please note that I have reverted your undo on my recent edits to the above-mentioned article. The edits I was reverting were changes to material that are indicated as direct quotations; the new editor cannot simply change the wording in the direct quote and claim they come from the same source-either the reference says what is quoted or it doesn't.

More troubling is the removal of the tag indicating a need for primary sources. The whole article indicates direct quotations in English with references to texts (mostly primary: Qur'an, hadith, etc.) which are in Arabic. Quite clearly, these sources cannot be the source of the English quotations. These problems need to be indicated on the article. Note also that there is a discussion that I've opened on the article's discussion page. Thanks.Vote Cthulhu (talk) 01:59, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Inappropriate warnings edit

Hello, I think the warning templates you are leaving for User:Vote Cthulhu are inappropriate. He is not vandalizing the page. You two have a content dispute. LadyofShalott 02:00, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. I do not want to edit war; I've initiated discussion on the talk page and have explained the reasons for my edits in the history as well as here. There are problems with the article in question which need to be addressed.Vote Cthulhu (talk) 02:02, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Zorbeez edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Zorbeez, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable, limited sourcing, quasi-advertisement

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. clever as a bot edit

Congrats on being exactly as clever as a bot. Please see Steven Dale Green, and e.g. here. I'm just updating the article according to verifiable facts. 78.34.130.54 (talk) 01:33, 8 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ok then. Sorry for the tone above, but mindless reverting because "it looks somewhat like it could be vandalism (and Cluebot thought so, too)" is very unnerving. 78.34.130.54 (talk) 01:38, 8 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

User:Sceptre has again reverted your edits. I assume good faith but this user keeps reverting the proposal to merge this article like it was his personal property. Why not take it to a vote by the users? Is there something wrong with this user?George Pelltier (talk) 00:08, 22 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

ThankSpam edit

My RfA

Thank you for participating in my "RecFA", which passed with a final tally of 153/39/22. There were issues raised regarding my adminship that I intend to cogitate upon, but I am grateful for the very many supportive comments I received and for the efforts of certain editors (Ceoil, Noroton and Lar especially) in responding to some issues. I wish to note how humbled I was when I read Buster7's support comment, although a fair majority gave me great pleasure. I would also note those whose opposes or neutral were based in process concerns and who otherwise commented kindly in regard to my record.
I recognise that the process itself was unusual, and the format was generally considered questionable - and I accept that I was mistaken in my perception of how it would be received - but I am particularly grateful for those whose opposes and neutrals were based in perceptions of how I was not performing to the standards expected of an administrator. As much as the support I received, those comments are hopefully going to allow me to be a better contributor to the project. Thank you. Very much. LessHeard vanU (talk) 22:38, 24 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Adoption (moved from userpage) edit

Dear Oldlaptop321, it would be a pleasure if you would adopt me. If this is the case please let me know in which way I can develop and test the English transformation of my German Wikipedia article on Fjodor Sakharow, a Russian painter. The German wikipedia and my German mentor offered a so called workshop utility for this purpose Kind regards--Romanoff3 (talk) 13:27, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions edit

With regards to this, it's all in the reading of the policy.

It's basically saying that the above example is not presenting an argument for deletion, they are purely voting. Does that make sense? Best, Steve Crossin Talk/Help us mediate! 02:52, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that makes sense. I thought the sentence was referring to the AFD process itself. -- Oldlaptop321 (talk·contribs) 02:59, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Nope, not at all. Was referring to the example. Best, Steve Crossin Talk/Help us mediate! 03:01, 16 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
