Help request edit

Hello,

I am not sure how to add references in the references section?

Hi Noel. See referencing for beginners for help. Place <ref>(the reference here)</ref> next to what you are citing. Place after full stops and commas as well. I have just said the bare minimum you need to know. I would strongly recommend you go read the link I have given you. Thanks, My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 18:57, 8 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
In future, if you require help, place {{help me}} on your user talk page. Sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~), indent messages by using one colon more than the last message and always create a ==Section header== for the topic you are talking about. August 2021 edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Wikipedia:Help desk, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. David Biddulph (talk) 21:09, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
