  • If you need help. You can try our live help, or you can click on the edit tab at the top of this page and and place {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly—usually within a few minutes.
  • You can create your own "Test" page by clicking on this link > User:Nileshmm/test < This will open an edit window on a page with that title, add something in the edit window and scroll down and click the Save page button and you've just created your first page.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Hello Nileshmm and welcome to Wikipedia and to the India Education Program! My name is Danger and I am the Online Ambassador for your course. I will be checking on your progress as you begin editing and I am available if you ever need any help. (I am based in the United States and am 10.5 hours behind India Standard Time, so I can help you when your Campus Ambassadors are asleep!) If you need any help, you can leave me a message on my talkpage by clicking here. Again, welcome! Danger (talk) 21:35, 25 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one page into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to make a note in an edit summary at the source page as well. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Danger (talk) 01:55, 1 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
