Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Image source problem with Image:Absinthe Supreme Spoon.jpeg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Absinthe Supreme Spoon.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:19, 12 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 20:19, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:Artemesia-Spoon.jpg edit

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your GA nomination of Obsello Absenta edit

The article Obsello Absenta you nominated as a good article has failed  ; see Talk:Obsello Absenta for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of said article. If you oppose this decision, you may ask for a reassessment. {{adminhelp}} {{helpme}} Hello I have been involved with defending and now editing the Obsello article. A senior editor is arguing for deletion and does not seem to be open to logic. He does not seem to understand the spirit or the spirits category and I fear I am not skilled enough nor do I have enough time to adequately defend the article. I am looking for help. The Obsello page is one thing but this logic would threaten every interesting liquor distillery that is within the scope of the wiki-spirits project. I have no interest in editing spirits pages if we can only do so with Jack Daniel's. I am much more interested in award winning and exciting indie spirits, provided that they have enough noteworthiness to justify their inclusion. As far as I am concerned Obsello has more than enough noteworthiness and I dont know how to do anything more than what I have done.

  • Hi! -- Who is arguing for deletion, and where is this discussion taking place? Without reading their words it's hard to help.—S Marshall Talk/Cont 17:32, 2 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
    • Oh, I see. Do you mean Fences and windows? If so, he's a very reasonable bloke and you can try just talking to him.

In any case, if he was serious about deletion, he'd take the matter to articles for deletion. If he does that, you have something to worry about, but Fences and windows has a reputation as the guy that rescues articles rather than someone who deletes them.—S Marshall Talk/Cont 17:43, 2 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Lost Spirits edit

Hello Nightcafe1,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Lost Spirits for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 06:01, 17 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
