Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Our WP:NPOV policy says "Editing from a neutral point of view (NPOV) means representing fairly, proportionately, and as far as possible without bias, all significant views that have been published by reliable sources." No disrespect, but until your view starts to attract discussion from other reliable sources, it isn't considered significant. Note that WP:RS is our criteria for reliable sources, and I'm not convinced the website meets those criteria. Nor are you a well known archaeological expert. And, since it's your view and your inserting it, you have a conflict of interest problem -- see WP:COI. You can argue your case on the talk page however. Sorry to be drowning you in guidelines and policies but all editors should have some idea about them. Dougweller (talk) 15:57, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Nick. Just to agree with Doug above... I'm sure your suggestion is perfectly serious and looks perfectly reasonable to me. It's just that your website, as it's your own self-published research, counts as a WP:SPS or "self-published source" and thus is not considered as a WP:RS. So, sorry that your suggestion can't be added yet. Hope you understand. (By the way, I think Rudolf Steiner was a truly great figure in modern philosophy and education!)
