Should I go into detail on the districts? ie: "Senate district 41 is represented by David Hartsuch and includes the eastern third of the city. PA Capitol

• consider reversing the first and second sentence in the 2nd paragraph. It goes from saying it's the 3rd capitol, to where the state capital use to be, back to about the older 2 capitols.
• Starting in 1982, restoration of the Capitol had been ongoing. should it be "has been ongoing"? If no, perhaps list the year that the restoration ended.
• The doors are decorated with scenes from the history of Pennsylvania might I suggest small details of the scenes? That's just my opinion, as it would be interesting to me to note the scenes.
• There is brief descriptions of the House and Senate chambers, but nothing on the Supreme Court Chambers

I know I have been in the statehouse's Senate and/or House chambers (and the Supreme Court too) but I am starting to think it was when I did not have my camera with me (as it was the same trip as the National Civil War Museum and I did not get any photos there either). I like the new photo of the dome from Flickr very much. I have one of the interior of the rotunda that I will try to upload. I do not have any of the statue, but it is on the Pennsylvania quarter. (out) I double checked my books and I have two from my 2005 visit to the Capitol. One is essentially a duplicate of The Capitol (with a different cover, title and speaker picture inside). I note this says the legislature met in the Dauphion COunty courthouse while the Hills Capitol was being built (not in the article, should be). The other is "The Pennsylvania Capitol" (This book was prepared by the Pennyslvania General Assembly) and does not seem to be in your list. The most useful item I found in it so far was photographic proof the Cobb Capitol was on the same site as the Hills Capitol - there are pictures of each (hills after the fire) with the same staircase in the forground. The Cobb Capitol also has the same number of of windows and same pattern (circles above two rectangles) as the central part of the Huston Capitol, so it is pretty clear they reused the walls. The Auto-categorizing Robot

Back in July, I asked your opinion about filing a request for a bot to add HD categories to HD articles so that we could remove Category:Historic districts in the United States from {{Infobox nrhp}}. See Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/The Auto-categorizing Robot: a bot has now been written and approved to carry out this task. It will add a state-level category to any article with {{Infobox nrhp}} that is tagged with "hd" or "nhld", unless (1) the names of multiple states appear, in which case it will add Category:Historic districts in the United States [so we can sort it manually later], or (2) there's already an HD category on the article. The state park pic quest is a success. User:Ruhrfisch was very patient and kind and we finally got pics of all the parks. They can be seen at the commons and a pic of each park is on User:Dincher/Pet. Once a few more details are ironed out we hope to move my user page to List of Pennsylvania state parks. Once concern is how long it will take the list to load with 120 pics of 120 parks. The list already takes about 10 seconds to load on some systems. Dincher (talk) 03:05, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

Saw your note on Dincher's page. Originally the Flickr user was going to send an email to OTRS licensing all of his PA state parks pictures. Then he was going to change the licenses on Flickr of the sets, but he kept them non-commercial, so they can't be used here. Then he said just to let him know and he would change licenses on individual pictures - that has worked very well so far, with about 21 pictures added so far. Now all 120 state park articles have images. The waterfalls list is waiting on someone from DCNR to look at the images and make sure the waterfalls are identified correctly. There were so many convert templates in the PA state parks list that they literally stopped working - only the first 100 (or whatever number) worked, so we took them all out. Canton Corner Historic District

Naive question. When you posted this listing to National Register of Historic Places listings in Norfolk County, Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago, did you have a better information source than the raw listing announcement -- is there anywhere I can go for the details that the Elkman tool would provide if it were a less recent listing? Niagara can say otherwise, but i think it would have been based only on the new Weekly listing announcement which you have already found and used in the Canton Corner Historic District article. Google searching on "Canton Corner Historic District", though, i also find this town of Canton PDF file giving specific details on several houses winning some hist pres award, within what in 2006 was proposed for the NRHP district listing area. It was meant to be an annual awards program so perhaps there are other files like this for subsequent years. Okay, searching then on "Canton Historic Preservation Awards", if find more: See also this and Boston Globe article linked from this. And see this. I used only the weekly listings announcement (which is all I needed to update the list). The only thing missing from the infobox is the town it's in (personally, I leave the boundary information out of the infobox and put into the prose, as it tends clutter the infobox up, and leave only the town and state). You kindly offered to convert some maps to SVG format. Assuming the offer is still valid, could you please do so for the maps in Nansen's Fram expedition? They are all on Commons and are File:Nansen Fram Map.png, File:Nansen's Planned Drift Map.PNG and File:Nansen Franz Josef Land Voyage Map.PNG. I have a clean base map (no labels) for the last one at File:Nansen Franz Josef Land Trip Base Map.PNG though I now see it is missing the directional arrow on the red line. Well it looked great on my computer, but when I uploaded it to Commons at File:Nansen Fram Map.svg it only shows up when I click on the image rectangle. (Does it work at all for you?) Plus it seems to have too big a border, so it needs to be trimmed - thanks to your earlier note, I knew where to ask for help and have a request in on Commons. Thanks - I imported a png version of the map with no text and traced that. I assumed it was overwritten, and did not delete it. I added the text with Inkscape, as well as the four lines from text to various points. I do not know how to get the original image only as large as the imported PNG either. Thanks - I had seen the manual, but not WP:INK. Part of my problem is that I do not know simple things - when I first drew staright lines, it took me a long time to figure out you have to click at both ends - I thought it was set to 0 pixels wide as the line kept disappearing when I hit Enter. I've been slow to reply to your second request, but I'll take another look at Pennsylvania State Capitol. I'll add my thoughts to the bottom of the peer review page later today. I have a favor to ask as well. I'm having trouble with the alt text for the map in Leiper Canal. I think it must be a syntax error, but I haven't been able to figure it out. The alt viewer simply does not see the alt text I've added. I know you found and fixed a syntax error in one of my other alt texts, and I'm hoping you will see what's wrong with this one. Hi Niagara, I'm having trouble again with alt text. I've added alt text to all of the images in the Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, article except the second map in the infobox. This is the first time I've tried to add alt text to a two-map plus one image infobox, and the tricks that worked before don't seem to work for the second map. Thanks, it is a beautiful park - most of the Glens were never cut, so there is nice old growth timber too (Ricketts saved it, though he clear cut enough elsewhere). I had not heard of the New York park, also sounds very nice. Have to see which images get used in articles before deciding on trying for a FP (most of the early numbers are mine, most of the later numbers are dougtone's, so it might just be as nominator). I got a Flickr user to freely license a video of Ganoga Falls in the winter (the guy jumping into Adams falls is less interesting for an encylcopedia and that Flickr user still has not freely licensed his images for use here. I've tracked down The New York Times articles that verify the new claims in the scandal section. They are Huston goes to prison and Graft sentences upheld. I wasn't sure whether to use "cite news" for this or not because I don't see other "cite family" templates in the article, and you might not like using them. County infobox

I was really happy to see how you added an image to the bottom of the Clinton County infobox. I've often thought the courthouse images would look good in that spot. Since you're going with AWB on the Pennsylvania NRHP lists, would you be willing/able to add references as well? Virtually no Pennsylvania lists have the references at the top of the tables that most other lists do: check Henry County, Ohio for an example of what I mean. Thanks! With the closure of the ARCH system coming as early as mid-December, Ruhrfisch and I have begun to download NRHP nomination forms en masse. So far, I've gotten Lawrence, Butler, Beaver, and Clarion counties, some of Allegheny County, and all restricted-address sites; as of yesterday, he'd gotten Bradford, Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne, and Wyoming counties. I've run into the same problem at pages such as Springfield, Vermont, where Homer Simpson and family occasionally appear as notable residents. As for the locomotive — no, I've never heard of this before. This seems like a way of solving problems such as Mississippi III (recently moved to Neville Island from Marietta, Ohio), except for the obvious necessity of delisting in the original location. I've always treated movable objects moved from one location to another as exceptions to the always-list-a-site-where-NRIS-lists-it standard — thus Mississippi III is on the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania list, not the Washington County, Ohio list — so I'll remove the locomotive from the Lancaster County list. The 2010 WikiCup begins tomorrow!
