You didn't bother to check if there was any "real person, animal, organization, or web content" before removing the stub, which since it has removed, obviously cannot be expanded upon. This sort of thing is why I, an early extensive contributor to Wikipedia, mostly don't attempt to add content any more. Black Dot Vodka

edit

Rvsuvarna can you please provide some feedback on the black dot vodka page i just built on my user space. I would appreciate your help and guidance in getting this article to wikipedia's standards and live. Thanks a lot.

  • This looks exactly like the last version, and has the same problems: (1) it uses promotional/advertising language like "with a hint of cherries", "smooth, clean finish", and "distinctive label"; (2) winning a third prize for label design at one local show doesn't make this product notable per WP:N. NawlinWiki (talk) 17:19, 7 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • I have made edits per your suggestion and added another citation from a magazine. Please let me know if this will suffice. Your help is greatly appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rvsuvarna (talkcontribs) 03:09, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • No. You're still trying to advertise. "Hint of cherries"? "Distinctive" label? "World-class product"? If you can't bring yourself to write an article with no laudatory adjectives, then it doesn't belong here. NawlinWiki (talk) 03:16, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Please let me know if it looks ok to you now, I have made it factual, and removed everything you suggested. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rvsuvarna (talkcontribs) 03:27, 10 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Grandrat

edit

Dridged (talk) 22:38, 3 August 2011 (UTC) Good Day, My article was deleted two times with the same reason. I fully understand the first deletion because the article does not contain any notable content. As I rewrite the second article “not to mention that I forgot to talk to the first admin that I will rewrite the article” I have added more notable writings and images as a proof. As I reviewed the guidelines, in my understanding, the company was notable because of the independent charities and help they give to the OSY’s (Out of School Youths) moreover aiding the entrepreneurs of the local province as mentioned in the writings. It is quite easy to be said and done but the poverty and growth of the OSY’s need much more of attention. In the year of 2004, the company’s charity works expanded the gift giving of support and love not just to the OSY’s, entreps, marketers, but to the victims of typhoons which are commonly natural to the province. As I fully understand, the company’s objective and service is an infrequent one that they actually giving free service with no demand of payments to internet marketers, organization, entrepreneurs, OSY’s and other charities without inserting any promotional citation, quotation or writings. If I overlooked and failed to notice a big part of the article any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank YouReply

  • Notability, for Wikipedia purposes, does not mean "doing worthy things." It means recognition per the standards of WP:CORP, by reliable, independent sources per WP:ORG. The independent recognition is essential. It's not enough to say "It's my company and I know we did this." NawlinWiki (talk) 22:47, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
I was the admin who deleted the page the first time, and I just now went back and reviewed the second version you made. The second version comes a little bit closer to meeting the minimum requirements to not be speedily deleted. It almost asserts importance, but not too clearly--it's still borderline. Even if it were undeleted, though, as written now it would still eventually be deleted, because, as NawlinWiki says, nothing in that article shows that Grandrat has been found by independent, reliable sources to be notable. The most common way that you can demonstrate this is to provide information written in reliable magazines, newspapers, trade journals (though not press releases), etc., that have talked about Grandrat in detail. If such sources don't exist, then they can't have an article on Wikipedia (at this time). If you do think you have such sources and want to work on improving the article, let me know and I can move the article temporarily into a holding page in your userspace; this would give you a chance to work on the article to show that the company is notable. However, if such sources don't exist, there's no reason to do that, as the article will inevitably be deleted eventually. Qwyrxian (talk) 00:22, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

IanAndersen (talk) 23:39, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Hi there. I respect your decision to remove my page, but it seems a little hasty. I posted a response as to why the page shouldn't be deleted and asked for advice and instead it just got deleted. I modeled the company listing after reviewing several other private and public company profiles and I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Would you mind providing more detail? The page was Selectica. Thanks, Ian.Reply

IanAndersen (talk) 23:47, 3 August 2011 (UTC) In addition, another moderator wrote that what I was writing was fine. you can see on my talk page. Thanks.Reply

  • I can't speak for the other administrator, but the article consisted entirely of a list of products, citations to the company's own website or PR releases, and promotional copy like this: "Over the years, Selectica enhanced and added solutions to create a suite that spans the entire deal process from product configuration, pricing, and quoting (CPQ) to contract renewal. Today, over 100,000 users in over 20 industries utilize Selectica’s solutions." The article needs to (1) be written in neutral language, and (2) provide *independent* sources showing the company's notability. Given that you are the company's marketing manager, WP:COI also applies. NawlinWiki (talk) 23:58, 3 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

IanAndersen (talk) 00:45, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Thanks Nawlin. I appreciate the response. I understand that COI applies and I was trying to be upfront about that. With that said, we clearly need to do a better job at providing neutral content. I'll work on that. Is there a process for submitting content for review so it doesn't have to go live then get taken down? Thanks.Reply

    • You can ask me (or any admin) to review a draft in your userspace. Let me know. NawlinWiki (talk) 02:59, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

IBCS-PRIMAX

edit

J1477 (talk) 09:38, 4 August 2011 (UTC) Hi. My Article on IBCS-PRIMAX Software (Bangladesh) Ltd. was deleted. I created this page for putting the reference on the page "List of companies of Bangladesh" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_companies_of_Bangladesh) which does not have an Information Technology category. I added an Information Technology category which was deleted as well. If my page was to be deleted, I believe many other companies on that page like "Nitol_Motors_Limited" should have also been deleted. IBCS-PRIMAX software Ltd. is one of the few Zend partners in Asia, an Oracle platinum partner (there are only two in Bangladesh), and also CMMI level 3 certified company. It has developed many large scale software in the Government sector as well. I was in the process of adding all this information when you deleted the page. These are all neutral facts, that is, it is not just a small enterprise in Bangladesh. I can provide numerous references if that is required. At present the IT sector in Bangladesh is growing fast. The Government has designed a revolutionary "Digital Bangladesh" program that is automating all business processes across all industries. Hope you'll reconsider.Reply

  • You would need to find and cite reliable, independent sources (see WP:V) to show that this company meets the notability standards of WP:CORP. NawlinWiki (talk) 12:19, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Falling In Reverse Deletion Review

edit

A new article on a band is up for deletion review here: Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2011_August_5#Falling_In_Reverse|. It seems to me the band now clearly passes WP:Band since it is No 19 in US album charts and so it might be nice if the article could be recreated now. Hi, You just deleted the article "Comedian Jason Stewart" from my edits and his reference on Jason Stewart, I am curious as to why (you do have comedian Jason Stuart referred on the same page), I thought maybe it was confused as advertising because I referenced press releases? I was simply creating a page for someone. Not a fan page just a reference article page. It called for proof this is a real person so I linked his homepage and facebook. perhaps that was where I went wrong? Just hoping you can help me correct what I did wrong rather than just deleting another professionals existence. Thank you for your time and help if you would. Pixi Anderson — Preceding unsigned comment added by Panderson79 (talkcontribs) 19:31, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

ps. I did read the "Why" on this page and cant see anything I did that matches it. If you need further proof I am not him I can provide you with that also. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Panderson79 (talkcontribs) 19:35, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • The whole thing reads like a promo piece. For example: "These days Jason can be seen all over the country not only as a highly regarded stand-up headliner but also as an accomplished show producer. Be on the look out for him..." Wikipedia is not a PR agency, and we don't tell our readers to "be on the look out" for anyone. See WP:NPOV and WP:SPAM. NawlinWiki (talk) 19:37, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Yeah its because I just used his website /released public bio and then I realized thats probably the way it sounds so I will rewrite it, Sorry I didnt even think about the movie release thing in there or whatever. Sorry about that, and thanks for the reply :)

oh sorry one more question... can I re-add him to the Jason Stewart reference once I rewrite the bio to specific standards? As I had him before so it will redirect to "Comedian Jason Stewart?"

    • It's always best to write an article in your own words, rather than using the subject's own words or those of his website. If you write in a neutral tone of voice, and supply reliable references (WP:V) showing Mr. Stewart's notability per WP:BIO, you should be fine. Also, the new article should be titled Jason Stewart (comedian) per our naming conventions. And yes, if the new article is acceptable, you can add it to the Jason Stewart disambiguation page. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 20:51, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Add Virtual Nations page

edit

I was adding the page of Virtual Nations, a game in the style of e-republik, Nation States. It's a game over a year created, as well as others which are already listed on Wikipedia. I barely started and already the page has been deleted, or added more information, just put the basics. Soon going to add more.

  • The fact that there are other similar web games doesn't make this one notable. It has to independently satisfy WP:WEB. NawlinWiki (talk) 22:11, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

ok,But several similar games and less noticeable, and very incomplete pages are here. My idea was to add a list of online games, but leaves. Maybe one day achieve. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adilsonmrj (talkcontribs) 22:18, 9 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your speedy response. I can see how the language was a bit too descriptive, that's easily changed. If I work for a company, does that mean I'm not allowed to contribute to a wiki page about it? Apologies for my ignorance I am new here.

Thanks Chughestyze (talk) 23:51, 9 August 2011 (UTC)CindyReply

    • It means you need to be very, very mindful of being neutral. Because your job is probably to promote your company and spread good things about it on the Internet, you might find that difficult - a lot of employee-contributors aren't able to remain neutral. Also, you need to be very mindful of supporting every assertion in the article with a reliable independent source (see WP:V) - which means don't use the company's own site, or its PR releases in the media. I'm concerned that those revisions you're deleting don't meet the criteria. They don't appear to be allegations, harassment, grossly inappropriate threats or attacks, browser-crashing or malicious HTML, shock pages, phishing pages, known virus proliferating pages, and links to web pages that disparage or threaten some person or entity as specified by criterion RD3. I'm also concerned that deleting two- or three-year-old revisions is more likely to draw attention to what you're trying to hide than just leaving it buried hundreds of lines down in the history. Compendium_wmc deletion

edit

I would appreciate an answer as to why my page has been deleted. The name was merely chosen to reflect a post I held at the school - Compendium, branch of the student union (basically the News Office). If you would actually check my edits, you'd realize that I often clear the WMC page of any agent websites that are planted there as Blackhat SEO practice. Shouldn't I at least have received a heads-up before you deleted the page. What does this measure pose for my credibility editing pages on Wikipedia? Compendium wmc (talk) 12:31, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • The problem is that you are using your user page to promote an organization: "We hope that you will aid us in this task and help us promote WMC for the pearl that it is." That's not permitted per WP:SPAM, even on user pages. NawlinWiki (talk) 12:42, 12 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Wenzhou Medical College does not have any branch named "Compendium, branch of the student union" at WMC. For more information and verification please contact http://www.wzmc.edu.cn/en/contact_us.php . This user (Compendium_wmc) is continuously deleting our partners information and was providing wrong information about school also i.e undermining number of students, faculty and staff numbers. etc. xeerox1 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:30, 14 August 2011 (UTC).Reply
  • Sorry for that misstep. The only reason I promote this organization - pro bono - is because I am a student here. User Xeerox may be right about Compendium no longer existing, but this only happened after the international student union was disbanded. However, this account and the Wenzhou Medical College pages were initiated by that same organization. Since I can only read from the English version of the website, any underestimations on my part are due to an out-of-date edition currently published on the official English website. But I will not tolerate the addition of a commercial agent's website to our wiki. Googling "Wenzhou Medical College" will show you that there's a whole host of agents representing the school. If those companies were to get the same bright idea and try to add their websites to WMC pages, it would turn our pages into a useless link farm. Notice that my contributions span more than just the WMC page, but also strive to clear up the picture concerning China's Medical Program for international students. Unlike Xeerox, my edits span more than just one week and two pages. Thank you
Compendium wmc (talk) 01:08, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Compendium never existed. I think this user Compendium must be careful while presenting himself as authority. We are thankful to partners who made Wenzhou Medical College an international Medical College. Promotion of a medical college require continuous organisational work not a "One Man Show". User Compendium might be removing our partners website because of his own conflict or conflict of interest. Wikipedia must not welcome people editing WIKI under the shadow of person conflicts.

Please see here. Thanks. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:48, 19 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

We closed MBBS & BDS admissions for Wenzhou Medical College on 15th of August. Total 150 students will join this year. During recruitment process we found out many individuals/students were claiming to be admission partners of Wenzhou Medical College and collecting heavy amount of Money from new applicants. To avoid such problems we decided to put a link on Wenzhou Medical College Wiki page. As Mr. Compendium WMC is claiming to be owner of Wenzhou Medical College Wiki Page doing false propaganda about us. I hope compendium wmc should get ready for our legal action in near future. He has been doing this for long time and we were continuously ignoring but now we have enough written article written by him on Wiki and other blogs to bring him to court. • OK, fair enough. But this was the entire article: "michael bannon is a golf professional in northern ireland and is coach to rory mcilroy,michael coached rory from childhood and worked on every part of his game culmonating in rory winning the us open in 2011 and becoming world no4, michael resides in downpatrick county down having worked in holywood golf club and bangor golf club" At this point, I would think this should be a redirect to Rory McIlroy unless someone is willing to write an actual article with sources (and punctuation). MostArt

edit

I have no idea if this is where I'm required to leave a comment so excuse me if I'm going about the following request incorrectly.

I understand that the previous attempts at creating a MostArt page from a few years back were done erroneously. I had no input in those, but I have done all I can to research correct ways to create articles that are relevant. MostArt is a legitimate artist who has an album and other music released as well as performances all over Los Angeles, including the Key Club. I've seen other artists on wikipedia with less notability. The most recent edit of MostArt was completely factual with no signs of self promotion. There are numerous links to his work and articles about him. I'm asking that you undelete his page.

Lakerlove1983 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lakerlove1983 (talkcontribs) 20:06, 23 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Uh, you wrote the articles about MostArt yourself (and it was two posts of the same article on different websites). You will need to find reliable, independent sources (see WP:V) that show this artist's notability under WP:MUSIC. NawlinWiki (talk) 20:31, 23 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Question

Hi. I think this picture should be deleted. Because anyone could take a free licenced picture of this tank, right? Thanks...--Rapsar (talk) 08:30, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

I'm still waiting for your reply...--Rapsar (talk) 10:20, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
I don't think it's all that easy to take a picture of a military tank, so I'm not inclined to speedy-delete. You can list the image for deletion if you feel strongly about it. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:38, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please Re-Consider the deletion of Parrish Stahl 21:46, 24 August 2011 NawlinWiki (talk | contribs) deleted "Parrish Stahl" ‎

edit

Mr. Stahl has been a published author, television producer, personality and a leader in the disability rights movement in Michigan for over 20 years. He has written scores of articles for various publications. His work also includes sports, human interest, entertainment and business. Many can be veiwed on the web. He also serves on the City of Jackson MI Human Relations Commission and is a leader in interpeting the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • The article does not indicate that Mr. Stahl meets the notability standards of WP:BIO. Being the producer of a local access tv show, or a freelance writer, doesn't qualify. NawlinWiki (talk) 19:24, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cameron Arnett

edit

Is Cameron Arnett notable enough to be in wikipedia if the content of the article is rewritten? What about the article really causes a problem to be considered for wikipedia? How many times do I get to correct the problem and make the article suitable for wikipedia? faithfulservant2006 —Preceding undated comment added 19:00, 25 August 2011 (UTC).Reply

  • He might be marginally notable enough as an actor (although it appears all of his roles have been small guest appearances). But the big problem is that the article is written in a laudatory and promotional tone -- "his newfound talents", "string of personal successes", "mentoring of youth has been his passion", etc. Please read WP:NPOV and WP:SPAM. Blocked school IP

edit

Just FYI...I've opened a case at WP:ABUSE regarding 205.158.76.100 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). Six blocks in eighteen months shows a definite problem in IT discipline for that school, I'd say. The up side (if there is such a thing) is that if I'm reading the extended WHOIS data correctly, they only have a /27 range assigned, which my maths tell me gives them 30 usable host addresses. --Alan the Roving Ambassador (User:N5iln) (talk) 20:01, 25 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

NewOrleans.Com

edit

NewOrleans.Com is a website dedicated to helping the city of New Orleans And The tourism industry which is the heartbeat of our city, We need to get the information known that New Orleans now has a destination site which only focus is the city of New Orleans, Our Page Give the history of our company, and what the NewOrleans.Com Website is about. why would it get deleted?

  • Articles considered advertisements include those that are solicitations for a business, product or service, or are public relations pieces designed to promote a company or individual. Wikispam articles are usually noted for sales-oriented language and external links to a commercial website. However, a differentiation should be made between spam articles and legitimate articles about commercial entities.Italic text

I do not see anywhere in that text any Sales-Oriented Language, At no point did this page ask a user to purchase or buy anything. Everything is is about the history of the company and the commercial entities which in the link your provided says is fine. your reply did not provide me with enough information, is there any tips that you could give us to create a wikipedia page for our website that will fall inside the limits of the SPAM Article? your help would be greatly appreciated. Below are some similar website, the only difference is that we are New Orleans Focused, just would like to know how we can fall into their category and not be considered spam,

Thank You

    • The articles on these sites cite reliable independent sources (see WP:V) to show that they meet our notability guidelines (see WP:WEB). They also are not written for the purpose of "getting the word out". Wikipedia is a tertiary source, which means we only have articles on things that other sources have reported on. Quote for The Signpost

edit

Hey NawlinWiki. I realise it's short notice (if you're reading this after 22:00 UTC Monday, you're too late), but I wondered if you could give The Signpost a quotation about the news that the AbuseFilter extension is being rolled out to all Wikimedia wikis. Specifically, I wondered if you could answer the questions "Of how much benefit is the abuse/edit filter to the English Wikipedia?" and hence "Of how much benefit is the filter likely to be to smaller projects?" (in other words, how high is the learning barrier to becoming proficient at filter-writing compared to the benefits against vandalism; how adaptable is the EF in your experience to meeting new threats). No worries if you can't get round to this, I realise you're a busy person. Thanks, - Jarry1250 [Weasel? Discuss.] 07:20, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Colas Ltd page

edit

Hi NawlinWiki, I'm new to Wikipedia and adding pages and was wondering why the Colas Ltd page was redirected to Colas Group. Colas Ltd is a subsidiary of Colas Group, like our sister company Colas Rail who do not have a redirect. I have tried to look at other pages of Companies we work with to ensure that we have similar content etc so that I do not fall into the trap of "advertising". Once this page is accepted my plan would be to add to link from the Colas Group to the Colas ltd page so it becomes more factual. Thanks Colasuk (talk) 08:50, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Page move protection for Mental disorder?

edit

You recently protected Mental disorder from page moves. I am curious as to why this was done since I don't see any history of page moves that would have brought this on. I do see discussion on the talk page of vandalism where various other pages are redirected to Mental disorders but I don't think that protecting Mental disorders will help that. Is it possible that the issue was communicated unclearly and the remedy not understood by the editor making the request(I can't find the page protection archives, so can't check for myself)? Jojalozzo 15:01, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

It has been move-vandalized in the past. :P
  • (del/undel) 03:22, 3 February 2009 Exceedingly (talk | contribs | block) moved Mental disorder to H E RMëë ? ‎ (Imma in yer wiki HURR, movin yer articles DURR.) (revert)
  • (del/undel) 10:14, 31 May 2010 Sheogorath (talk | contribs | block) moved Mental disorder to Another mortal dares to summon me, and already I am bored. But enough about me. Let’s talk about you. I could turn you into a goat. Or a puddle. Or a bad idea. I could make you eat your own fingers. Or fall in love with a cloud. Perhaps I could make you ‎ (into something useful. Let’s find out. This page was slapped to a new title by Grawp’s humongous phallus.)
It's also a likely target to be hit again. Reaper Eternal (talk) 15:04, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
And it was the target of recent attempted move vandalism, caught by a filter. NawlinWiki (talk) 16:26, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
I don't know how to look up vandalized moves or attempted moves. I was using the Move Log but nothing showed up there. How should I be doing it? Is this sysop-only info?
The main reason I asked about the move protection was that an editor reported the page had been protected in the talk page in a discussion about other pages being redirected to it as if that would address that problem which didn't make sense to me. Then when I couldn't find the protection request (more ineptitude on my part) I came here for clarification. Now I see that discussion is weeks old and isn't related to this case. (BTW, where is the link to the archives for protection requests?)
Thanks for clarifying. Jojalozzo 16:38, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
It wasn't requested that this page be protected, and there are no archives. However, you can see the move log and the abuse log entry which led to this protection per WP:GREENLOCK. Reaper Eternal (talk) 16:46, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

REINSTATING DR. GOLDBERG PAGE

edit

````DrGoldberg 2011```` NawlinWiki -kindly assist in reinstating the page. I welcome to know what I would need to revise to ensure page reflects and abides by rules. Please note, I was following same format as Dr. Oz wiki page. Please assist. I am entering third week with no word of how to update the page correctly. Please advise. Best. Marianna — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drgoldberg2011 (talkcontribs) 02:47, 31 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Three things: first, you need to remove all the laudatory adjectives - "top doctor", "cutting-edge" and the like. See WP:NPOV. Second, Wikipedia is not a resume host, so the article should not include his actual CV or be formatted like one. Third, and most importantly, you need to cite independent, verifiable sources to back the claims in the article - see WP:V. NawlinWiki (talk) 02:59, 31 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
GigMasters.com, Inc
edit
Sorry about having that page up there. Someone from our company decided that the best course of action would be to be bold without actually reading any wikipedia protocols. I've added a article request along with some secondary sources and a mock-up of an article page earlier today. I'm not looking for any guarantee of getting someone to write it, but as a newer wikipedia member, I just want to make sure I'm going about this the right way. Cheers, and thanks. AlexDancho (talk)
(talk page stalker)"Someone from our company decided that the best course of action would be bold without actually reading any wikipedia protocols" - that seems to indicate that you have a conflict of interest on Wikipedia. But as long as you are careful enough (and by that I mean following policies like our neutral point of view policy and our [[WP:NOADS|advertising policy), you shouldn't have any problems. Wikipedia values its contributors, especially new ones :) .Jasper Deng (talk) 04:20, 1 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
Groen Brothers Aviation
edit
Hello. I wonder if you could tell me why the Groen Brothers page was deleted? The company is an innovator of new aircraft technology. I wanted to put up a brief description of the company's work in aviation prior to expanding the article to include its place in aviation history, among other information. Any assistance you can provide would be helpful. Their work is well documented in national publications, including the ones I listed. I did not have hyperlink citations given the articles' early 2000 publication dates. Would this help?
QUESTIONS
edit
Help! Was I supposed to type in my user name or the person I went to reach? The instruction say sunder "Post a public message...in the search box, type User talk (username). So, to contact "Example", type User talk (Example)." That last sentence is in contradiction to the title of the instructions, which is "Post a PUBLIC message". Sorry---I'm just all mixed up.
How do I write to the person who removed my edit? I find his "page" and he says we can write to him, but I can't figure out how. His page says, "Please add all comments at the bottom of the page (or I may not be able to find them)". Can someone please tell me how I add comments. I can't find any place to do that at the bottom of his page.
When I just previewed this, it seems to be saying that I'm trying to edit something. I'm not. I'm just trying to ask a couple of questions. I followed the instructions under "Post a Public Comment." Thank you to anyone who can help me.Sandy Simpson (talk) 04:31, 1 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
  1. Type in the username of the user you wish to contact.
  2. Talk pages have a tab at the top which creates a new section on the page. These new sections are always added at the bottom of the page, so using the "new section" tab allows you to put a new thread at the bottom.
  3. Any action that brings up the edit screen is an edit, even if you're asking a question to another user on his or her talk page. Don't take offense to it. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 04:35, 1 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
