Speedy deletion nomination of DataVault Solutions

edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on DataVault Solutions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. roleplayer 13:38, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of CivicEye

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on CivicEye, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Alli Connect moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Alli Connect. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and you may have a possible Conflict of Interest. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 17:44, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the quick note! I admit I'm not too knowledgable about how to do this well and could use your assistance. Similar to other tech companies I see who convey who they are, what they do, when they were founded, the industry they play in, etc. I was attempting to do that for our startup as well. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axon_Enterprise, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAS_(software), etc)
What am i missing that needs added/edited to be successful in publishing? Nathan.leatherwood (talk) 17:49, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
If it is your startup, then you really shouldn't create it anyway (see WP:COI). If you do, the subject needs to be proven as notable. The current state of the draft provides no reliable sources that prove notability, and none of the claims in the article are backed up by reliable sources.
If you have further questions, I'd suggest reading WP:YFA and asking for help at the Teahouse. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 17:56, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
