Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Meta Warriors edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Meta Warriors, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. September 2022 edit

Hello, Muhammad Mousa. Thank you for helping to build Wikipedia-- the world's largest free content encyclopedia. The page Draft:Meta Warriors has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

This article needs to be rewritten from scratch from reliable, third party sources unconnected to the subject. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not an outlet for promotion, advocacy, or advertising.

Information on content and common pitfalls to avoid can be located here and here, however be aware that this is not an exhaustive list. Pages can sometimes avoid these pitfalls and still be seen as an ad copy or unambiguously promotional, particularly if the editor appears to be a paid editor or has some other conflict of interest. Please review these policies, including the FAQ page on organizations to determine if this applies to you.

Common mistakes or beliefs about promotional editing center on the assumption that promotional editing only applies to promotion for commercial gain. Some tags or G11 nominations are met with confusion by creators, particularly if they spend much time reading or creating corporate documents, mission/vision statements, or similar copy for their organization. The frequent exposure to promotional tone may make it difficult to notice non-neutral phrases or styles, as the editor has grown accustomed to seeing it as everyday writing or speech. This can be difficult, but not impossible, to unlearn.

Another common assumption is that the prohibition against promotional editing applies only to businesses or organizations. Anything can be promoted, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc. and CV/resumé's are by their nature promotional.

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia-- subjects must meet notability guidelines with reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and providing verifiable information. That generally means someone unconnected with the subject needs to have written a great deal about the subject. Please see this page on citing sources. This page has templates you can use in citing your sources. Place the template {{Reflist}} at the bottom of the page, and references cited in the text will appear there. New article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can also ask for help at the TEAHOUSE and on IRC chat.

New article creation can be difficult and frustrating. Sometimes it is better to first gain experience by fixing and helping maintain existing articles. Wikipedia:Community portal/Opentask contains links to things that badly need doing, if you are so inclined.

Hey This is the most unfortunate thing that you deleted the page without even looking at the data.
This a world first ever play to earn zombie killing blockchain game.
I have only written about it just to make it clear that how the game works.
You should properly mentioned which section violate your term of service or policy?
I went through every page here and you just killed my hard work.
I thought it is helpful to combat fake news and scam but you did otherwise. Muhammad Mousa (talk) 05:52, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Funny you should mention "violate [our] term of service or policy"...

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose discretionary sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Everything related to blockchain, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and similar technologies are under sanctions. —Jéské Couriano v^_^v a little blue Bori 06:04, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Let's talk about the elephant in the room.
This is my game www.metawarriors.world
Who should I hire to create a page about it ?
All policies are overlapping and no clear idea what shouldn't be there?
I am the CEO and I read these all policies for two days before wasting my 10 hours time on the deleted draft.
Isn't it was a common sense that you should have told me add/remove these to approve your artilce rather than deleting the whole article?
same articles are also live on wikipedia, Just Check Metal Warriors
I am still fully confused that why you deleted it?
For God sake no one should kill ten hours hard work just because I think so and so brother.
I have disclosed that I am writing about my own subject and I have also mentioned it I only added a link to my website that's it.
can you tell me who would delete a 10 hours hard without asking for changes? Is it fair? I am fighting scams and fake offers through this page. it is important for me.
My customers are scammed. My telegram group has 45k members and twitter has 18k members and discord has 21k members and these folks think the game is not popular enough.
If you can not help to stop scam then what is it good for bro? Muhammad Mousa (talk) 06:38, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
"Who should I hire to create a page about it ?" That would be a WP:PAID editor, which violates the Terms of Use. Disclosure does not give you license to treat Wikipedia as a promotional platform, let alone the number of dweebs that follow you. Kleuske (talk) 09:20, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Muhammad Mousa. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Muhammad Mousa. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Muhammad Mousa|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 09:25, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am neither paid nor I am expecting any financial compensation for it.
I am using my official email for this article which is mmousa@metawarriors.world and my website is www.metawarriors.world. I am the founder and CEO of the game. here is my linkedIn profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/blockhash/ .can we have an online meeting where I will show you every evidence you need regarding the project or me Muhammad Mousa (talk) 10:00, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
I see you declared a COI, but it seems like you need to make the stricter paid editing disclosure. 331dot (talk) 09:26, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
can you see my last response where I have explaine clearly that I have no financial interest here. I am CEO of the company not a paid editor Muhammad Mousa (talk) 10:02, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
So you are not paid for your work as CEO? You do it for free? 331dot (talk) 10:07, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because you are clearly here not to contribute to the encyclopaedia in a neutral way, but to use Wikipedia to publicise your game. It is perhaps unfortunate that the issue of financial gain was mentioned, because recently you have fixed your attention on that, to the exclusion of the other points which have been explained to you, here and in the "teahouse". The fundamental point, which has been explained to you but which you seem not to have grasped, is that your only purpose here is to use Wikipedia to help you attract people to your game, which is absolutely not what Wikipedia is for, no matter how good and noble that aim may be.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 10:15, 7 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
