The article Richard M. Fierro has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Iamreallygoodatcheckerst@lk 06:13, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

- User:Iamreallygoodatcheckers, jp Fifty-one minutes after you created the Joseph Fierro article, "Iamreallygoodatcheckers" became the first other User to post to it, and proposed that it be deleted. Many others quickly weighed in, supporting that recommendation. Your creation consisted of a bit over 1,000 characters. That deletion banner may have deterred other Users from posting to it, thinking their efforts might be quickily erased, but I felt the stub article was very worthy and should be kept and expanded: A minority of one to the deletion request. After a few others posted to it, doubling it in size, I doubled it once again, to four times the size you'd posted. The Springs mayor, the Colorado Governor and Biden in a personal call to Fierro, praised him. Still, there has been a torrent of right wing posters to nationwide social media claiming that Fiero is a "faggot," a "pedophile," and that there really weren't any killings, that it's all just more "fake news," Hopefully, "checkers" will reconsider that label he or she gave it that would deter other editors from expanding the stub, fearing it would be a waste of their time. I have a thousand other things I should be doing, but I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving. Activist (talk) 03:01, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for your work as mod/editor and for standing up for the article. I will trust the process that the redirect is the right decision, there's enough meat there to pay tribute to his actions Mrflip (talk) 22:14, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
