Ethnicity edit

Don't confuse ethnicity and race. There are white hispanics and black hispanics. They are of different races, but a common ethnicity. "An ethnic group or ethnicity is a grouping of people who identify with each other on the basis of shared attributes that distinguish them from other groups such as a common set of traditions, ancestry, language, history, society, culture, nation, religion, or social treatment within their residing area. Ethnicity is sometimes used interchangeably with the term nation, particularly in cases of ethnic nationalism, and is separate from, but related to the concept of races." Niteshift36 (talk) 23:58, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Lol you’re joking right…

There are white Hispanics because of mixed races. wow what the fuck is it

Mexican is an ethnicity or nationality end of story. MountainTraveler (talk) 19:44, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Your answer doesn't even make sense. I'm quoting reliable sources and you're just making declarations. I'm hear trying to discuss the actual topic and you're edit-warring and cursing at me for no reason. Niteshift36 (talk) 20:09, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

December 2021 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making personal attacks towards other editors.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Doug Weller talk 20:00, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I stopped what I was being asked to stop. I stopped harassing after the warnings

Decline reason:

We do not have telepathic powers to be able to read your mind and know that you intended to stop. Your vulgar edit summaries are wholly inappropriate for any public forum and you will need to commit to refrain from such attacks in the future. As this request does not do that, I am declining it. 331dot (talk) 20:19, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I'm not saying anyone's a mindreader but I was asked by Arjayay to stop and I literally did. Maybe the timing got construed by I stopped and wouldn't do it again in the future.

Decline reason:

You were asked to stop by Arjayay here. You subsequently made this edit and then this one. Best we leave you blocked, because nothing here convinces me you won't just keep acting like this, given that you did keep acting like this earlier today after being asked to stop. Request reason:

No I wrote that stuff before I saw their second warning. I wouldn't do that after the second one and I don't know you think I would continue even after being unblocked? Because of my wording? When I say I'll stop something that means I'll stop. I mean, I understand a temporary block but indefinite seems very excessive for this and I 100% did stop after reading the last warning. Why would you not give someone the benefit of the doubt when we're talking about a permanent blocking of a decent contributor?

Decline reason:

One open unblock request at a time, please. — Daniel Case (talk) 05:02, 29 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

My blocking: "Personal attacks or harassment and misuse of edit summaries, can be unblocked when editor agrees to stop." I agreed to stop and did, it's that simple. Now please unblock so I can finish the page I was working on. Heck you can even block me after I am finished with the page but there's still various things I need to add at least to this one last page before my account goes silent which I was already planning on doing anyways in the next week so it's a win win for everyone.

Decline reason:

I've been looking through your contributions. You made a minor error ("of of"), which anyone could have made, but when someone corrected it, you restored the error with an extremely abusive edit summary, not once but twice. Therefore I do not feel you have the right termperament to work on a collaborative project such as Wikipedia. Request denied. Voice of Clam 09:17, 6 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Um, I stopped harassing and you still blocked me?? edit

I clearly stopped with the personal attacks and yet I was still blocked? This is punitive, not constructive.

That’s not convincing. Any appeal needs to convince another Administrator these attacks won’t happen again. I notice that you rarely use edit summaries and when you do they tend to be comments on other editors. Doug Weller talk 20:17, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
