Lotus Renault

Sorry about the brusque nature of my edit there. I should know you're right: I use the "invisible note" trick myself to that very end often enough. It should not be needed, but probably is. Britmax (talk) 21:18, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:AutoGPlogo.png

Thank you for uploading File:AutoGPlogo.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Armbrust Talk Contribs 17:03, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Could you clarify exactly what is missing here please so I can fix it? I've have used the non-free logo template and included all the info that I believe is necessary. Thanks - mspete93 18:56, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
In fact I've just realised that I missed the non-free logo license template. I have now added it. Sorry about that. - mspete93 19:04, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
No problem. Armbrust Talk Contribs 19:06, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

IRC season results

Hi Pete

I have just realised that the positions entered in the drivers standings were overall positions in each rally and not positions within the IRC championship.

In my opinion the positions should be the IRC positions, as the page is only about the IRC. To see the overall positions you could go to the page regarding each individual rally. I know that would this would involve quite a few changes, but it would probably be worth it.

I have added a new section in the talk page of the IRC 2009 season as you suggested. Thanks Oggmunster (talk) 15:43, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

Lukoil-Sunred

Hello! Yes, you are absolutely right. Information about the Lukoil's form of collaboration with Sunred from the previous source is not so clear as in the source that you found. Cybervoron (talk) 05:06, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

Russian licence

You were right about Midland - in the source article, Fomenko is quoted as saying that it is the first time that a team will compete with a Russian licence, and I forgot to check that it was accurate. Thanks for the correction.--Midgrid(talk) 19:10, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Gerard Lopez (businessman)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Gerard Lopez (businessman) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Removing Speedy at Gerard Lopez (businessman)

Hi MotorsportPete93, you recently removed a deletion tag from Gerard Lopez (businessman). Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:10, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Lotus Renault question

Hiya, you undid my move of Renault F1 to Lotus Renault. Even though that is clearly the teams current name (Lotus Renault GP and not Renault F1). You said that there would possibly be a new page for Lotus F1, even though that team is technically a continuation of Lotus Renault GP. I was just wanting an explanation for why we're keeping the Lotus Renault page titled as Renault F1 and why we're creating a completely new page for Lotus F1 which is technically a continuation of Renault F1.Gaeaman787 (talk) 22:07, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Happy new year! also since it is now 2012 is it ok to move Renault F1 to Lotus F1. By Formula 1's standards, the team has been continuous since 1977 or something like thatGaeaman787 (talk) 23:23, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
