A belated welcome! edit

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Moonsurfatsj. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! Coretheapple (talk) 18:38, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hey I just noticed that nobody had officially welcomed you. Appreciate your work on the documentary films. I guess my only concern is that we may are using Night Will Fall as a source, and I'm not sure how much we can do that, especially for the article on the 1945 documentary. But I guess for the moment let's leave that as is. Coretheapple (talk) 18:40, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hitchcock 'review' edit

Re this edit: Hitchcock was not "supervising director" in the official credits on the website of the Imperial War Museum, which restored the film. He is listed instead as "treatment advisor." Also we can't call that a "review" as a "review" implies a newspaper review, and this was only reviewed in 2014, when it was finally released. Lastly, please be sparing with what are known as "reverts." See the three-revert rule. Coretheapple (talk) 18:44, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Oh I'm sorry, I misunderstood - you were referring to Bernstein, not Hitchcock. Same issue here - he was producer, not director. Same concern re use of the word "review." Also, please, if you have a concern, raise it on the talk page, not by "edit warring." Coretheapple (talk) 18:48, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Video edit

Hi Moonsurfatsj. The video you keep adding to Auschwitz concentration camp is already listed in the external links section of the article. Please stop re-adding this content. Thanks, -- Diannaa (talk) 19:23, 11 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello Moonsurfatsj. The external link you keep re-adding is already included in the article, in the external links section. Please quit re-adding this paragraph! there's no need to include this information twice. -- Diannaa (talk) 14:12, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
  • Hi Moonsurfatsj. I don't mean to pile on here, but I was already watching your page because of our previous "discussions." I have to tell you that it is a bit frustrating for editors to leave notes on your page and see them essentially ignored. Not only is the video in question already in the external links section, but mentioning it is also excessive attention, covered in the policy section WP:UNDUE. Coretheapple (talk) 15:15, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

For the sake of a quiet life, I have stopped removing the content. However, I would like to point out that edit warring to retain your preferred version of an article is a really bad idea, as it goes against our edit warring policy. If your addition is removed, you are not supposed to reinstate it, but rather go to the article talk page and make a case for its inclusion. -- Diannaa (talk) 21:10, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

I've removed it, as it plainly is grossly overemphasis to have this as a separate section. Moonsurfatsj, there is a policy called the "three-revert rule" that has been previously brought to your attention, and I suggest that you adhere to it. Coretheapple (talk) 21:24, 12 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
