Notability

edit

If writing about the firm, please read WP:CORP, if about the person, it's WP:BIO. In both cases, read WP:RS as well - that'd about the reliable independent sources needed to prove the notability. Please note that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not social media or a directory. Not every person or every business gets an article. It is also not a profile host (like LinkedIn) or a CV (resumé) host. Your article looked rather CVish in style. We aren't concerned whether someone is 'positively' represented or otherwise. We have articles about nice people and nasty ones - the criterion is that they pass the notability requirements with RS referencing. On this subject, please be aware that neither the creator of the article nor the subject can control the article. Wikipedia is 'warts and all', and information that is not to the taste of the subject may not be removed if it is reliably and independently sourced. Almost anyone can edit. (Internet access is a necessity, of course, and so is not being blocked or banned.) Peridon (talk) 18:16, 19 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
