Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Music into History of music. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 15:07, 18 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to History of music, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. isento (talk) 19:40, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at History of music. isento (talk) 18:27, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week to prevent further disruptive removal of material, as you did at History of music. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Nick Moyes (talk) 11:12, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Blocking admin's note: If you decide to return to constructive editing once this block expires, please ensure you include an EDITSUMMARY to explain your actions (you've never used them thus far), and please use the article's 'talk page' if you feel there is a justifiable reason to remove content, yet others clearly disagree with you. There you can explain your concerns, and an agreement on the way forward can be reached. Repeatedly deleting something because you happen not to like it is highly disruptive and bordering on vandalism. Many thanks, Nick Moyes (talk) 11:17, 28 June 2020 (UTC)  Reply
