Redirects edit

Hello, Mntnwolf,

Please do not add redirects, especially broken redirects to a non-existent page, to an article. It's just a link that needs to be removed by another editor so it creates extra work.

Hello! Sorry, I was trying to redirect "Taebaeksan National Park" searches & links to the Taebaeksan page, but I guess I did the opposite by mistake. The Taebaeksan page should be re-named Taebaeksan National Park, To align with the standards of Korea's 21 national parks, but I cannot see how to do that... Can some Korea Editor or Administrator please do that?

Martin Gray (spirituality scholar) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Martin Gray (spirituality scholar), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello, thanks. I just started that as a stub; I intend to improve it with proper reference links and details, in the coming week. ~~mntnwolf~~
I noticed that he frequently refers to himself as an cultural anthropologist and "National Geographic photographer", but found no information on a degree in cultural anthropology, nor did I find a photo in the National Geographic that he took. If this is him, he studied at "International Travel". If found that a bit unusual, for a researcher and scholar. Vexations (talk) 18:53, 1 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your swift & detailed attention, Vexations! This is an unusual situation, for sure, but I do believe that he is significant enough to have a WP page, if WP standards can be met. His website has been linked-to by at-least two dozen WP pages of sacred sites already, and could be by hundreds more; and his main book has been quite successful in the field. I do know him in-person, helped him on his Korea material around a decade ago, but we are not "close" friends nor any sort of pro-colleague -- I just appreciate what he does, as a similar sort. As can be seen in his publications and interviews, he is The Real Deal on these matters, more expert-knowledgeable than most PhD professors in such a wide range, especially in Fieldwork aspect -- yet it's true, he never earned any college degree at-all..! So then, what does WP do in cases like this?? (there must be many similar others). What CAN we legitimately call him..? "Published author" and "published photographer" obviously, but beyond that.... "Independent Researcher", perhaps? And now, you said that you can't find any of his photos in the National Geographic -- that's a shock, and disturbing; I know that I saw some a decade ago, and that such pro sales are how much of his travels are financed -- I will check this out myself and see what I can find from him or on the net. Thanks again for the help, and Happy Solar New Year! ~~mntnwolf~~

Hi Liz, sorry to be so late in replying. This deletion is Okay; I could not edit-in enough valid references to make this article acceptable for WP. I regret this, as I still think that he deserves a page. Maybe in future...
