Bridge House edit

Please note that disambiguation pages like Bridge House are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

Mjhilpott, I couldn't find a mention of Bridge House (Bonavista, Newfoundland and Labrador) in any article, so I removed it from Bridge House. I have no doubt that the house exists and that it is a Registered Heritage Structure, but it needs to be discussed in an article before it goes on the DAB page - DAB pages are simply navigation aids (like the index of a book) and should only reference material that is covered in an actual article. The house was referenced in List of historic places in the Bonavista Bay region however was not linked. I have re-added it with the appropriate links and with the name used on the official designation, William Alexander House (Bridge House). Thanks for the info. mjphilpott (talk) 13:38, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Ah, I didn't turn up that page in my search. Thanks for fixing it. Leschnei (talk) 20:41, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for August 2 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bannerman Park, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Victorian and App. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles.
