No problem :). I protected his page, that should drive him away for a while. -- lucasbfr talk 18:27, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you need any help, don't hesitate to drop me a note. Some pages to get you started in case you don't know them by heart already: WP:VAND, WP:UTM (warning templates), WP:AIV to report vandals that don't stop after sufficient warnings (normally, you need to leave at least 3 warnings before reporting). I hope that helps! -- lucasbfr talk 18:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Warning vandals

edit
Complete list (and there are a lot of templates): WP:UTM. You can ask some help on how to use them on the related discussion page. -- lucasbfr talk 18:35, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

You reverted a blanking of this page: normally that would be the right thing to do, because a page-blanker is usually a vandal, but it's worth looking first at the edit history. In this case, the page blanker was the author of the article, and he did it after I had tagged the page as spam, so what he was doing was withdrawing his attempt at advertisement. When that happens, the thing to do is to add a {{db-author}} tag, which requests speedy deletion because "No one other than its original author has made substantial edits to this page, and that editor requests its deletion or has blanked the page." Your rollback request

edit

You're welcome: edit count isn't a good measure of trust, however: I based my decision on your recent reverts, which looked good to me. Just remember that rollback should only be used to revert vandalism, and misuse or abuse of the tool can lead to it being taken away. For practice, you may want to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 22:28, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome. :) Take care. Acalamari 22:32, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, i feel bad for being as rude now, i was somewhat trying to mindlessly defend myself, thinking i'd made a big mistake and i was really missing the entire point. Here's to me learning to communicate with other people better! - Jimmi Hugh (talk) 01:48, 28 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hay, don't panic. Debates get heated and it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. No biggie! Thanks for your understanding. M♠ssing Ace 12:31, 28 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've removed the warning. I apologise, but I was reverting the vandalism and clicked the button on the program a fraction of a second after you'd done the exact same thing. Thanks anyway and I'll try to be more careful in future.--Les boys (talk) 11:12, 30 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi. re your declining the speedy on this one, I wasn't aware that videos on youtube counted for notability :-) CultureDrone (talk) 19:55, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Signature

edit

From the coding in your signature, it looks like you want the text to be black, right? I'd switch the coding to:

'''[[User:Missing Ace|<font color="black">M♠ssing</font>]] [[User Talk:Missing Ace|<font color="black">Ace</font>]]'''

which would show up as

M♠ssing Ace

Ryan Bianchi

edit

I'm just writing to ask why Mr Bianchi's article has been removed? There is no notification of him anywhere else on the internet because I've chosen Wikipedia first. Wikipedia is a world famous site (kind of) and I wanted to let the public know about Mr Bianchi. It's as if computer engineers aren't being taken seriously...
