New to this editing wiki thing

Can anyone help me with a more constructive method to what I call learning how to contribute or give back to wiki because I don't work I don't make any form of income i guess you could call me a hermit in our current Era but it's hard to do what I want to do which is study the world but now I'm being bombarded with ads basically being forced but not really for my main objective is sustainablit and the program that was written for me or with out me is hard for me to follow in have old tech screens on both phones are cracked and my laptop is basically a glorified paper weight if possible if there is a Chat bot or something that can keep my mind on task ?
