Hi, and thanks for the message. While I agree that removing info is bad, I have to say that in this case it was more than warranted: the info seemed to inflate the subject of the article beyond its actual prominence, a feature of that article I've been thoroughly sick of. While that previous comment was undoubtedly POV (which is bad, I know), I think everyone knows that its not exclusive and it would be dishonest to present it as anything else. Also, I tried to explain the edits using the edit summaries. Please excuse my lack of knowledge of Wikipedia processes, though as an outsider I had to do something about it (after all only "you" can fix Wikipedia :D). 124.197.4.190 11:38, 12 June 2006 (UTC) Extra text: Also, I feel that the article as it stands now is a good enough version for what it is. Thank you for your invitation to open an account, but I feel my work is done. 124.197.4.190 11:39, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

VUW Name
The Maori name for VUW is Te Whare Wānanga o te Ūpoko o te Ika a Māui, and as far as I know it's an official name - I'd like to put in there, but can't work out where it should go. Any thoughts woud be appreciated. Hope hons is going well for you and that you actually get a bit of a holiday! Mostlyharmless 00:08, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks - it should've been obvious - Mostlyharmless 00:28, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Kyle Chapman was never a "member" of Zenith Applied Philosophy. I should know, I was there for a number of years. There were never any members. You just did courses there. - M A Taylor comment by User:218.101.86.150, moved from User talk:Midnighttonight/Archive1 --Midnighttonight 01:17, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi 3
Re: Thanks for your kind comments on the Admin page. I think I'd better stay right away from anything to do with Australian or New Zealand politicans for a while. Maybe come back in a month or so. Like you would say in Rugby, ...put myself in the sin-bin. I don't want to get burnt again. wallie 20:58, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- OK. Expect to see me back on Helen Clark's page soon. I have done my time. I do not also want any more rubbish from Gadfium either, like using the word "trolling", and then trying to elicit support from the admin page to back him up. Wallie 21:35, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
Question for you
G'day, I have noticed on several wiki's that are up for deletion that people cite to delete things as they themselves have not heard of the particular item/person/issue. Does this not defeat the purpose of wikipedia? The whole idea is to increase ones knowledge base not limit it. The defence (usually in noteworthy arguments) seems very unfounded. The world is a big place and I would be very amazed if someone had heard of everything on wiki. Simply stating "delete as I have never heard of ****" seems very weak.
Im sorry if you are the wrong person to complain too. If so can you direct me in the right way? Thankyou. Stevee2 23:23, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification :)Stevee2 00:48, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Merger AMS/MMP
Hi, I've noticed you've put merger tags on Mixed member proportional representation and Additional Member System. The last merger attempt Talk:Additional Member System#proposed merger failed. Can you give a reason as to your renomination? Because, at the moment, there is none provided --Midnighttonight 05:40, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- I nominated them, mainly because they are one, and the same thing. The only derivative of MMP, or SUP, could easily be accommodated within the article. Unless it can be proved that they contain distinctive differences, then they ought to be merged. Also, having separate articles based on separate names/nomenclature can be confusing for folks who are unaccustomed to voting systems, and wanting to learn more about them. Get back to your essay. Consider this your final warning. You don't want a block on your record, now do you?-gadfium 22:33, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Helen Clark
When someone combines seemingly good edits with vandalism, I rollback the lot. Are you sure the edits about her thesis topic etc are correct? And shouldn't you be working on your essay?-gadfium 04:47, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- Stop editing. Helen Clark isn't a great reason to be distracted... Mostlyharmless 04:52, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
- Good luck with the essay!!! ;-D Lady BlahDeBlah 11:36, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
I've replied to your post on Talk:Helen Clark. How sure are you that you're correct? It seems like the only evidence is the Act press release. If Act did get the name wrong, is it still worth linking to their press release? This is a pretty important matter to get right.-gadfium 09:19, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
John Yelash
I assume that you are chiding me for changing "Peter Yelich" to "John Yelash" on the entry for Helen Clark. For your infomation: it is John Yelash, as you will learn from a quick Google search. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 219.89.178.220 (talk • contribs) .
