How to use edit summaries

edit

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. —Whomp t/c 21:18, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

{{CBS}}

edit

Please be aware that KTXA and WSBK-TV will be independent and not MNTV in the fall, and KCAL-TV, WBXI-CA, and WWHB-CA will not be impacted by the CW/MNTV stuff. Please keep this in mind before editing {{CBS}} again. Thanks! --WCQuidditch 22:14, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Jewel-Osco

edit

Sorry about listing you a vandal, I thought "crazy about food" sounded like a joke. http://www.jewelosco.com/eCommerceWeb/LandingPageAction.do?action=begin

But, SuperValu does not use common slogans and formats for all it's stores as Albertson's did. Albertson's even realized such as Jewel holds about 40some percent of the Chicago market, even with more competition they are sort of unique and local to Chicago at Jewel, with many management graduates of Michigan U.

Present listing for Jewel has not changed, at least yet. And even with-in Jewel there has been variation as local commercials were done for the Chicago market area that did not match Milwaukee, WI Jewel advertising under Albertson's. Until the local voice over person either retired or died, he continued the chicago market commercials with Milwaukee sharing Albertson's version.

Looked goofy at times that the stores did not match what a Jewel store looked like in commercials when Albertson's tried to combine all under one advertising. It remains to be seen if they will change to "crazy food" But, recent reports against Wikipedia in the media about poor source info, even has me checking for more source reference to back-up my infot.

I don't know if you work there and know inside info. I know only so much, have worked for third party companies doing business with both.

Sorry again for calling you a vandal, Kidsheaven 21:53, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

edit

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Albertsons.png. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:38, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner.
